Ayu is a Balinese entrepreneur, interpreter, and trauma counselor passionate about connection, growth, and empowerment. As founder of Bali Interpreting and Bali Blessings, she supports women, youth, and communities through communication, healing, education, and spiritual growth—bridging worlds with empathy and heart.

Tamara Bucic is originally an engineer of mathematics with a passion for movement, yoga, spirituality, nature, and music (singing). Her interests extend to dance, theater, and creativity. Since a young age, she has explored spiritual practices from various traditions and is a certified yoga teacher deeply committed to Nonviolent Communication (NVC). 

Growing up in Croatia during a time of war, she experienced a very hard environment both outside and inside her home, along with a lack of quality communication within her family, which influenced her relationships and self-perception. Recognizing the need for change, she discovered Nonviolent Communication through a book by Marshal Rosenberg, gifted by her yoga teacher. This encounter transformed her approach to communication, and she became an avid advocate of NVC, sharing its principles and techniques with others at every opportunity.

With a deep sense of curiosity and wonder, Charan explores the interconnection between nature, the body, and the mind.

Through yoga, somatics, and natural hygiene, Charan continues to explore and uncover the vast potential of human vitality and awareness, and also guides other people in these journeys. 

He thinks that much of human suffering arises from inner conflict, which often extends outward as conflict with the surroundings and with people. By bringing mindful attention to these inner tensions, and through practices like Nonviolent Communication (NVC), Charan supports understanding, acceptance, and authentic self-expression — gently illuminating the fears that often limit our being.

In the past, he has been an artist and curator, organizing journeys, retreats, and residencies across Southeast Asia and Africa, and collaborating with diverse artists to explore the shared human struggles experienced across different cultures — using art as a medium for dialogue, reflection, and expression.

I first came across NVC in 2021, and saw it as a guidebook which contained clear pictures on how to be compassionate towards others and myself in ways that I was searching for since my childhood.
Since then it has influenced my behaviour and my relationships with family, friends and coworkers to a degree that got me motivated to start the path to become a trainer.
My main motivation is to bring social change through NVC specially to the ones who’d have less chances to come across it, being financial blocks, culture and other aspects.

Recently I've been working as one of the coordinating members in an international team of certified trainers and NVC enthusiasts in order to build a school in Kenya that will work based on NVC and will be a refuge for children victims of physical punishment in schools, as well as morally and sexually abused children.

I'm also involved as a facilitator in other social projects which offer NVC for free to international communities who struggle to pay for trainings. 

Khuyen graduated with a Master's degree in International Development and completed a certificate in Mediation and Reconciliation in Ireland. Khuyen has more than 18 years of experience in the fields of Human Resources Management, training, career coaching and operations, and has participated in several NVC International Intensive Trainings. Khuyen strongly believes that deep inside people & organizations are beautiful and legitimate needs. Realizing these needs is the foundation of social growth and development. Khuyen strives to increase the understanding of needs, collaboration and effectiveness at the organizational and societal scale through various training and coaching projects to build a happier and more compassionate society.

I began learning Nonviolent Communication (NVC) in 2012 with the late Dorsett Campbell-Ross, but it was after attending the IIT in Bali in 2017 that I truly began to connect with the deeper, felt experience of NVC.

Since 2015, I’ve been sharing NVC frameworks across Indonesia. In 2019, I licensed The No-Fault Zone® Game from Sura Hart (a US-based NVC trainer), recognizing its potential to support the spread of NVC in Indonesia.

During the pandemic, my focus shifted toward a body-sensation-based approach to NVC, which I’ve found to be more accessible and resonant within the Indonesian cultural context.

Over the past three years, I’ve been offering NVC trainings under my brand Empathic Living in cities such as Denpasar, Jakarta, Yogyakarta, and Magelang. At the same time, I’ve also restarted my NVC certification journey, with Jesse Chu as my assessor.

Trampolina Foundation

Trampolina Foundation is a non-profit organisation that focuses on finding funds for social change projects based on NVC.

Projects concentrate on dialogue across differences in public space, working in prisons, nonviolent leadership, conflict facilitation, supporting organisations regarding inclusion and psychological safety.

Up to 2023 it supported 29 people to participating in IITs and disseminating the skills and knowledge.

My first encounter with Nonviolent Communication (NVC) was in 1998 during a three-month training for peace activists. Even then, the concept of NVC resonated deeply with me, as I had previously been involved in mediation and met inspiring individuals who supported our peace efforts after the war. However, it wasn’t until 2007, when I met the remarkable team of Nada Ignjatović-Savić and Katharina Sander at Lebensgarten, that I truly experienced the transformative power of NVC. For five days, these two women—each unique in temperament and character—taught us how to introduce NVC into schools. From that point on, mediation and NVC became inseparably intertwined for me, forming the foundation for numerous peacebuilding and community projects in which I volunteered and worked with the Center for Peace in Osijek until 2011, when I co-founded a mediation center with three colleagues.

Currently, I dedicate most of my energy and time to school and peer mediation. Recognizing the crucial role of NVC in mediation, I translated Marshall Rosenberg’s book Nonviolent Communication: The Language of Life into Croatian in 2006. Since then, each participant in our mediation trainings receives a copy of the book as part of their introduction to NVC.

In 2021, I co-founded the Politics of Nonviolence with five other peace activists. This organization focuses on peace education and action, striving to build the capacity for nonviolence and nonviolent action within local communities in Croatia. This year, our efforts include organizing dialogue forums and facilitating discussions on important and sometimes controversial topics relevant to our community.

Being part of a community that applies, promotes, and spreads NVC is essential to me. From my experience, I know that when NVC serves as the foundation, it elevates relationships, peacebuilding, and community-building activities to incredible levels.

Saa-Aungwa Mngueshima Kristine Ikpah is a member of the Nigerian NVC network and NVC Africa Network.

She started learning NVC through Peace building trainings organized by United States Institute of Peace in Nigeria through Tarek Maassarani. She is deeply interested and rooted in promoting Conflict transformation as a whole, specifically Peace building through facilitating community dialogues and mediating conflict between individuals, groups, and communities.
She is a graduate of Benue State University, Nigeria in Psychology. She is also currently in her second year in a diploma programme specialising in social works which will offer her more opportunities to be able to interface with agencies that work directly with women, youth, and children.

Her work in NVC as well as counselling targets to support mainly women, youths and vulnerable groups towards living more fulfilling lives by creating safe spaces for authentic expression, healing, self-knowledge, and integral development. She believes that women are the bed rock of every society. Therefore, teaching them to own their voices and their life's experiences will build different aspects of their lives and give them the opportunity to contribute significantly to Nigeria
