Verena was a member of the German-speaking Assessors’ team in Switzerland until her death in August 2016. She was passionate about bringing Nonviolent Communication to crisis areas such as in Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Serbia, Afghanistan, Ukraine, Turkey and Lebanon since 1994.

Even in her advanced age, she did not shy away from the inconvenience of long journeys in order to follow her calling.
