How can we create a world that works for all?
The last full week of August, in the middle of the Netherlands, at a beautiful location in nature, there is an inspiring workshop week from Saturday afternoon 21 till Friday after lunchtime 27. It is based on Nonviolent Communication. The location is Centrum Oostraven, Epe, the Netherlands. (Closest big city is Apeldoorn).
You can make it a summer trip and take some time to travel around in the Netherlands!
The week is a wonderful immersion in a beautiful surrounding.
From the core of ourselves towards the outer world, we want to inspire to create practical hope together. Our aim is that you contribute to your own wellbeing, and the wellbeing of others and the surrounding. Personal, social & ecological change, and also: playfulness!
We use different methods: Nonviolent Communication, The work that reconnects (Joanna Macey), Living Compassion (Robert Gonzales), Sociocracy, Conflict mediation and conflict resolution.
It is for people with and without experience in Nonviolent Communication. It is recommended you did a basic course in NVC, because then you have more options to choose your workshops. You can do basic courses everywhere. If you need advise please contact us (see below).
For certification candidates in NVC there is room for practice, and getting guidance and feedback from certified trainers.
Practical: We provide drinks, fruit and snacks during the program time. You take care of your own breakfast and lunch. Dinner is organized in groups, so that we divide the tasks. Groceries can be done 4 kilometer away in the supermarket. We can combine this with the cars that are available. We share the costs. We chose this so we can keep the total costs low. See at the website page.
We aim at 40 participants out of Europe. We will make a spreadsheet where you can ask for a lift, or offer a lift, or can travel together. We encourage everyone to travel in a way that is eco–friendly: by foot, bike, train and bus, or by car with more than 1 person.
