"People at the Heart of Success"

I started learning Nonviolent Communication (NVC) when I was 26, and from the very beginning, I was interested in how it could be applied in real life—in classrooms, relationships, teams, and communities.

My first experience with NVC was in formal education, where I integrated it into my work with students and teachers. I later developed and led projects focused on bringing NVC into school communities. This work showed me how deeply the culture of a community can change when people not only develop new communication skills, but also strengthen their capacity to understand themselves, listen to others, and take responsibility for the quality of their relationships.

Over time, my work expanded to connecting and developing the NVC community across the countries of the former Yugoslavia. I am a co-founder of the Nonviolent Communication Network of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the founder of the Center for Nonviolent Communication Croatia. Through my regional work, I am committed to creating spaces for learning, professional connection, and the sustainable development of NVC across different social and cultural contexts.

I lead modular programs designed for intensive learning and integration of NVC, as well as training programs for future NVC trainers. An important part of my work is supporting participants in moving beyond simply understanding the model and gradually integrating it into the way they show up, make decisions, and build relationships.

For the past six years, I have also worked as an organizational development consultant. I support organizations in integrating NVC principles into their organizational culture, leadership, collaboration, conflict management, and employee development. I also apply NVC in individual coaching, helping clients gain greater clarity about their own patterns, needs, and choices, and supporting them in acting with greater inner alignment and personal responsibility.

For me, NVC is not simply a communication technique. It is a rigorous developmental approach that connects personal awareness, the quality of our relationships, and the capacity of communities and organizations to change without losing sight of our shared humanity.
