NVC is a revolutionary consciousness shift that has the potential to create real peace in our world.
For the past 20 years, I have taught NVC at the University of California, Stanford University, San Quentin State Prison, and numerous non-profits, businesses, and corporations. In 2006, along with NVC Trainer Jean Morrison, I designed and developed games, books, and products to help spread NVC skills internationally. Our thriving business, groktheworld.com has sold over 100,000 books and games worldwide.
These days, I am semi-retired, spending most of my time grandparenting the littles, working in my garden, meditating, swimming, traveling, and hiking the beautiful northern California mountains and coastline.
Because I enjoy this work so much, I continue to teach occasional workshops and see clients. As a meditator and student of trauma therapy, I bring these skills into my work with couples and individuals.

“My passion is sharing NVC is whatever capacity I can--be it informally or casually or in a large group. I support families, couples, and individuals who want to transform their relationships into something life-serving and harmonious.”
