Eddie Zacapa is the founder of Life Enriching Communication (LEC) and a certified CNVC trainer in the Sacramento, California, area. During 12 years working in the domestic violence field, he developed a year-long, court-approved NVC-based batterers program with a 0 percent recidivism after 5 years; no one returned to using violence at home. He still oversees a batterer intervention program through LEC in El Dorado County, California. 

He has also facilitated anger management, conflict management, and parenting classes, and other workshops on various topics. And, he provides life coaching and consulting to individuals, families, and organizations.

In his workshops, he assists individuals in understanding and implementing NVC principles into their daily practice. He serves:

• School systems
• Health care and social service agencies
• Workplaces, from boardroom to shop floor
• Religious and spiritual communities, for congregants and leaders.
