My journey with Nonviolent Communication (NVC) began in 2018. My son Deniz was only 20 days old when I came across a video of Marshall Rosenberg’s NVC workshop. I watched it breathlessly. I was deeply moved by how he brought together the practical AND the spiritual, the societal AND the personal — a harmony that has stayed alive in me ever since and become my path to relearning how to love myself and life itself. Through NVC, I’ve come to see that it’s possible to care for our own needs while keeping our hearts open to the experience of others.

My passion is to share NVC to support those who are seeking ways to build loving connections with others while staying true to themselves. I dedicate my time and energy with tremendous joy to give online and in-person training for individuals, couples, and groups.

I also love creating accessible and relatable content through my writings and drawings on social media. Working with people from different cultures in the Netherlands and Turkey keeps reminding me of the universality of being human. Our languages and stories may differ, but the language of our hearts is the same.
