The Healing Power of Empathy
Three 75 minute workshops on consecutive Thursday evenings
By: Steve Tumolo
The Healing Power of Empathy - at The Anchor of Hull (MA)
September 24, October 1 & 8, 7:00 pm to 8:15 pm
What if being heard was healing?
We all need understanding, connection, and acceptance—especially when life is hard. Empathy responds to these deep needs. It is more than being nice or saying the right thing. It’s being compassionately present with ourselves and others in ways that foster safety, connection, and healing.
Empathy is a skill that can be cultivated. Together, we can grow our capacities to be empathically present to ourselves and others.
This three-session experiential workshop series is a space to explore, give, and receive empathy.
Together, we will explore:
September 24: Self-Empathy
October 1: Empathy with Others
October 8: The Healing Power of Empathy
All are welcome. There is no fee. However, all who participate will have a chance to contribute toward the cost of the workshop.
The three sessions build on each other. It is recommended, but not required, that you participate in all three.
There will be opportunities to grow your empathy skills through practice in between sessions.
