# Transforming Enemy Images

**Betka Wójcik, Juliana Beryl Caszo** - Length: 1h:53m - English

**Topic Areas:** Conflict Resolution, Health & Healing, Intimate Relationships

**Session 1 of a 6-Part Online NVC Learning Series for Supporting Members - 30-Oct-2025.**

What if the people we call “enemies” are simply expressing unmet needs — just like us?

In this opening session of CNVC’s Co-Created Learning Series, you are guided through *Transforming Enemy Images*, a core Nonviolent Communication practice for shifting judgment into compassion. Through reflection and practice, you’ll explore a simple three-step process — self-empathy, empathy for the other, and new choices — that restores clarity, dignity, and inner freedom without requiring agreement or reconciliation.

A grounding and humanising session for anyone living with conflict, polarisation, or painful relationships who wants a way back to choice, self-respect, and humanity.
