Empathy is a key component in NVC practice of presence. Many are confused about the difference between empathy and sympathy and how to practice empathic presence. Instead of trying to guess a person's needs and worry about the rightness of our guess or working to understand the other -- Empathy calls on us to be present to the other's experience without any end goal in mind. We are simply accompanying the speaker to support their own understanding.
Description
Come practice the energetic process of allowing the energy to flow freely between us. Learn and experience the profound healing energy of empathic presence through accompaniment on the speaker's journey to self discovery, self awareness. Often from this place the speaker finds more clarity and their own next steps towards what they are wanting. Practice this quality of empathic presence in a supportive environment where vulnerability is honored and held.
