"NVC is not a communication technique — it is a homecoming. It is the ancient human knowing that beneath every word, every wound, every reaching out, we share the same heart. And when we learn to speak from the heart — with appreciation, with grief, with the courage to return — we do not just communicate better. We become more fully human."

I came to NVC after I had spent several years immersed in the Krishnamacharya lineage of yoga philosophy, reflecting on Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras and learning to listen more deeply to life.

NVC brought a language to what that listening began to reveal—the needs and longings present beneath words, silences, and reactions.

Over time, yoga and NVC have come together for me as a shared inquiry into how we relate to ourselves and others with greater honesty and care. I do not experience them as separate paths, but as different expressions of the same exploration.

My work expresses itself through writing and small-group facilitation. I am drawn to what unfolds quietly, to insights that take root over time and reveal themselves in lived moments. Alongside writing, I offer a weekly study group for CNVC certification candidates and support ongoing explorations of key differentiations within NVC. I also offer spaces that bring together NVC and contemplative practice.

I do not approach the “spiritual basis” of NVC as something separate from the practice. For me, it feels like the ground from which the practice grows. When Marshall Rosenberg spoke of giving from the heart, I hear an invitation toward meeting one another with openness rather than habit or protection.

I often find it easier to express myself through writing than in speech, and I have come to trust this rhythm of reflection and revision as part of how I work.

My journey with CNVC certification unfolded over many years. With the support and mentorship of several Trainers and mentors. In the last leg with River Dunavin, I began to see readiness less as something to wait for and more as something to step into. I now hold my role as a certified trainer with a sense of responsibility and ongoing learning.

My intention is to contribute, in small ways, to a world where practices that support connection, integrity, and wholeness are more accessible in everyday life.

I am based in Hyderabad, India, and work in English and Hindi, with a working understanding of Telugu.

> “My mission is to write, teach, and gather fellow travelers toward a world where every person has access to practices that support integrity and wholeness. Through books, frameworks, and contemplative sessions, I offer NVC not as a technique but as a way of seeing, one that draws from the deepest wells of yoga philosophy and human wisdom. My work reaches people through writing that travels across languages and cultures, through certification candidate accompaniment, and through sessions that invite the whole person into the room.”

NVC gave me language for what I had always sensed but could never quite say, that beneath every human struggle is a longing to be seen, to matter, and to belong. That discovery changed everything for me. I write and teach from that place.

“If something here has landed in you: a phrase, a question, a quiet recognition, I would love to hear from you. The best conversations I have ever had began with someone saying simply: this touched something in me. Reach out. That is already the beginning of connection.”
