My professional journey began by supporting people with disabilities. Over the course of 18 years, including 9 years in leadership roles, these experiences profoundly shaped the way I see people, relationships, and collaboration. Relationships, self-determination, dignity, and the question of how we can meet one another with equal dignity despite different roles and responsibilities have been central themes throughout my work. My Journey to Nonviolent Communication I actually found my way to Nonviolent Communication rather by chance, when I attended an introductory workshop. My intention at the time was quite pragmatic: I simply wanted to develop my professional skills. What I found was so much more. A whole new world opened up for me. Attitudes and values I had held for a long time suddenly found words. I discovered new ways of connecting with myself and with others while, at the same time, standing up for what truly matters to me. I was hooked. I wanted to learn more, deepen my understanding, and experience what becomes possible when Nonviolent Communication is not simply applied as a method, but lived as a way of being. My Work Today, as a CNVC Certified Trainer in Nonviolent Communication, supervisor, coach, and organizational development consultant, I work with individuals, teams, and organizations. A particular focus of my work is the health and social care sector – supporting people whose work is to accompany, support, and take responsibility for others. I am interested in what helps them, their teams, and their organizations expand their range of choices and stay connected, even in challenging situations. I aim to create spaces where growth and development can happen – with clarity and empathy, honest reflection, humor, and a willingness to address difficult issues. I see my work as a contribution to a culture in which dignity and equal dignity become alive in our everyday interactions. # Trainer's primary language **Menschen in ihrer Entwicklung zu begleiten, zieht sich wie ein roter Faden durch mein Leben.** Mein beruflicher Weg begann in der Begleitung von Menschen mit Behinderung. Insgesamt 18 Jahre, davon 9 Jahre in Leitungsfunktion, haben meinen Blick auf Menschen, Beziehungen und Zusammenarbeit wesentlich geprägt. Beziehung, Selbstbestimmung, Würde und die Frage, wie gleichwürdige Begegnung trotz unterschiedlicher Rollen und Verantwortlichkeiten gelingen kann, waren dabei zentrale Themen für mich. **Mein Weg zur gewaltfreien Kommunikation** Eigentlich bin ich eher zufällig in einem Einführungsseminar zur gewaltfreien Kommunikation gelandet. Meine Idee war pragmatisch: Ich wollte mich beruflich weiterbilden. Was ich dort gefunden habe, war viel mehr. Es hat sich für mich eine neue Welt eröffnet. Haltungen und Werte, für die ich schon lange stand, bekamen plötzlich Worte. Ich entdeckte neue Möglichkeiten, mit mir selbst und anderen in Verbindung zu sein und gleichzeitig für das einzustehen, was mir wichtig ist. Ich hatte Feuer gefangen. Ich wollte mehr lernen, tiefer verstehen und erfahren, was möglich wird, wenn Gewaltfreie Kommunikation nicht nur als Methode angewendet, sondern als Haltung gelebt wird. **Meine Arbeit** Heute begleite ich als CNVC-zertifizierte Trainerin für gewaltfreie Kommunikation, Supervisorin, Coachin und Organisationsentwicklerin Menschen, Teams und Organisationen. Ein Schwerpunkt meiner Arbeit liegt im Gesundheits- und Sozialbereich – bei Menschen, die Menschen begleiten, unterstützen und Verantwortung für andere übernehmen. Mich interessiert, was sie, ihre Teams und Organisationen dabei unterstützt, ihren Handlungsspielraum zu erweitern und auch in herausfordernden Situationen in Verbindung zu bleiben. Ich möchte Räume schaffen, in denen Entwicklung möglich wird: mit Klarheit und Empathie, ehrlichem Hinschauen, Humor und der Bereitschaft, auch schwierige Themen anzusprechen. Meine Arbeit verstehe ich als Beitrag zu einer Kultur, in der Würde und Gleichwürdigkeit im täglichen Miteinander lebendig werden.
