"As we learn to speak from the heart we are changing the habits of a lifetime. My mission is to share NVC with children, parents and colleagues in order to contribute to a world where everyone can meet each other in connection."

As a teacher, I am trained to impart knowledge and guide children in their learning process. It was a pattern to work from a place of "power over" and figure out in conflicts who is right/wrong.My mind was a place where I often dwelled... until I came into contact with NVC in 2014 and curiously discovered the tools to speak honestly from my heart, to listen to what lives in the other...

In this way, I learn to share from my vulnerability and no longer solely from my mind... Through NVC, I can discover with the children how to express feelings and needs and to consider the other. There flows such a diverse, enriching energy through the classroom and myself, a living energy that brings openness, space, and peace and safety. I notice how more and more connection arises, which then contributed to the motivation to learn.

#  Trainer's primary language

Als leerkracht ben ik opgeleid om kennis over te dragen en de kinderen te begeleiden in hun leerproces . Het was een patroon om vanuit " macht over " te werken, uit te zoeken bij conflicten : wie heeft er gelijk / ongelijk ? Mijn hoofd was een plek waar ik dikwijls vertoefde ...
totdat ik in 2014 met NVC in contact kwam en nieuwsgierig de tools ontdekte om eerlijk te spreken vanuit mijn hart , om te luisteren wat in de ander leeft ...

Op die manier leer ik delen vanuit mijn kwetsbaarheid en niet langer alleen vanuit mijn hoofd ...
Door NVC kan ik samen met de kinderen ontdekken hoe expressie geven aan gevoelens en behoeften en rekening te houden met de ander .
Er stroomt zo'n verschillende, verrijkende energie door de klas én mezelf , levende energie die openheid, ruimte en rust en veiligheid brengt . Ik merk hoe er meer en meer verbondenheid ontstaat die dan terug bijdroeg aan de motivatie tot leren.
