With a deep sense of curiosity and wonder, Charan explores the interconnection between nature, the body, and the mind.

Through yoga, somatics, and natural hygiene, Charan continues to explore and uncover the vast potential of human vitality and awareness, and also guides other people in these journeys.

He thinks that much of human suffering arises from inner conflict, which often extends outward as conflict with the surroundings and with people. By bringing mindful attention to these inner tensions, and through practices like Nonviolent Communication (NVC), Charan supports understanding, acceptance, and authentic self-expression — gently illuminating the fears that often limit our being.

In the past, he has been an artist and curator, organizing journeys, retreats, and residencies across Southeast Asia and Africa, and collaborating with diverse artists to explore the shared human struggles experienced across different cultures — using art as a medium for dialogue, reflection, and expression.

You know how leaders rarely get honest feedback about their behavior. Most of the time they are alone, lonely and prone to exercise power over others. This has negative impact on engagement, well-being, satisfaction and results of their teams.

What I do is help leaders navigate the change by being their behavioral consciousness and sparring partner, providing them relational space where they can have regular, honest feedback. I motivate leaders and their teams commit to an outcome that they can all fully support.

I am an experienced executive coach with 12 years of practice working with CEOs, sports coaches, professional athletes and leaders on a mission to improve their organizations for the better of their communities.

Hi, I’m Sarah Uwer, born in 1978 in Switzerland, and I live together with my partner in Bern. I like to stay active, love matcha lattes for breakfast, and enjoy a warm bath in the winter.

A quote from a postcard in New Zealand touched something deep within me and has guided my path ever since. It said: “To observe without judgment is to witness the Goddess.” That led me to an extensive yoga training and to Nonviolent Communication (NVC).

When I wanted to learn a different style of communicating for my work I discovered something that goes far beyond communication itself and which has been transforming my inner attitude ever since. NVC serves as a process of self‑reflection that continually invites me to connect with myself and with others. Once clarity about needs emerges, something magical happens and this can lead to solutions that previously seemed impossible.

I’m an NVC Trainer Candidate and alongside my work in movement and health promotion, I teach yoga and adult education. In my courses, I aim to create a safe space for experiences. The body is, for me, a powerful gateway to the wisdom that lives within us.

After attending two International Intensive Trainings (IITs) and many other NVC learning experiences, I am happy to be part of the organizing team for the Switzerland 2027 IIT. I have personally experienced how profound and enriching these spaces can be and wish to contribute to creating a framework in which such experiences become possible. I look forward to welcoming you here in Switzerland and hope that this IIT will be a place where we not only understand NVC but truly live it with ourselves and with one another.

Kia ora, greetings,

My name is Kaya,

I am a Candidate for Certification as a Trainer in Nonviolent Communication (NVC). I have been studying and practicing NVC consistently since attending my first International Intensive Training (IIT) in 2023, an experience that profoundly shifted my relationship to myself and others.

I am part of the organising team for the IIT, Aotearoa 2026, because my first IIT experience restored my hope that authentic connection across differences is truly possible. My earliest understanding of radical nonviolence came through learning about the Parihaka movement in Aotearoa, New Zealand, which strongly influenced my commitment to finding alternative approaches to conflict and social change. NVC offers a practical framework, community and philosophy which I practice and live everyday.
I am committed to contributing to this IIT because I believe deeply in the healing and connective power of NVC, in representing and supporting my own Māori community, and in shaping the culture and world that I want to exist for my mokopuna (grandchildren).

I was drawn to NVC through a deep concern for division and suffering in the world. From my experience with NVC, healing is possible through self-connection, radical self-responsibility, and the capacity to remain in connection with others across differences.

My primary interests include social change, needs-based therapeutic approaches, and exploring the relationship between NVC consciousness and the Dharma. I primarily use NVC to support in daily life and I am working toward offering individual and group NVC education. I integrate NVC with lived experiences from applied neurology, trauma-informed perspectives, tikanga Māori, and metabolic health.

My role as an organiser and candidate for certification represents a public commitment to deepening my courage, compassion, and skills for the benefit of all living beings.
