"By supporting leaders in practicing empathy and accountability together, I hope to contribute to a culture where decisions are made with awareness of human needs — not fear of mistakes."

When I first encountered Nonviolent Communication (NVC) — also referred to as “giraffe language” — I was already working in a high-responsibility leadership role. What struck me was that it gave me language and structure to principles I had been searching for. I see NVC as a way of relating to feelings and needs, not only others’ but also my own. Whether in organizations, families, or communities, I am inspired by the possibility of fostering connection without sacrificing clarity, responsibility, or integrity.

I am an experienced leader in engineering organizations, with a background as a manager, project manager, and team leader. I hold a Ph.D. in electrical engineering and have a past as a researcher. Much of my work has been in environments where decisions carry high stakes and where communication and trust directly impact outcomes.

Since first encountering NVC in 2018, I have been drawn to its structure and supportive community, which have guided my ongoing learning and personal growth. My earlier leadership experiences, including programs combining communication training with mindfulness, had already given me momentum in developing self-awareness and relational skills, and thereafter, NVC provided a framework to deepen and apply them.

Today, I combine being a CNVC Certified Trainer and operating my own company with my role as a manager in the Swedish defense industry. This setup allows me to “walk my talk” by sharing NVC-based leadership practices in training while also living them in my organization. I particularly enjoy working with young leaders in their first management or project management roles - a time when guidance and clarity can make a lasting difference.
