Having been introduced to Marshall Rosenberg's thinking by chance, the pieces of the puzzle quickly fell into place.
What the big eye-opener was - and after all those years often still is - is that everything starts with myself: how do I look at myself, others and the world, how authentic am I with myself and others, how do I communicate with myself and others...
Slowing down and (wanting to) connect ... then compassion follows automatically. I experience this time and again.
And if there is a possibility for more connection, understanding and compassion between people, I am happy to contribute, in any context or role.

#  Trainer's primary language

Eerder toevallig in het gedachtegoed van Marshall Rosenberg gerold, bleken de puzzelstukjes al snel op hun plaats te vallen.
Wat de grote eye-opener was – en na al die jaren vaak nog steeds is – is dat alles start bij mezelf: hoe kijk ik naar mezelf, de andere en de wereld, hoe authentiek ben ik met mezelf én de andere, hoe communiceer ik met mezelf én de andere…
Vertragen en in verbinding (willen) gaan ... dan volgt mededogen vanzelf. Dat ervaar ik keer op keer.
En als de mogelijkheid bestaat dat er meer verbinding, begrip en mededogen ontstaat tussen mensen, dan draag ik daar graag aan bij, in eender welke context of rol.
