Perhaps it was logical that I became a journalist and worked for over 30 years for public broadcasting and various newspapers and magazines. As a journalist, I am used to getting involved in new situations and asking questions. From more than 20 years of intensive work with (early) education, educational policy, youth welfare and social work, I have an overview of the political and professional debate in these areas. To this day, I coordinate the Kita-Fachtexte, a portal with new, practice-relevant texts for Kita and primary schools (www.kitafachtexte.de). Since 1990 I have been giving seminars – mainly on communication with children, public relations and writing, and since 2008 on non-violent communication. In 2018, I decided to change sides and work as a process facilitator, trainer and coach in order to be more effective. Empowerment is the new German word for it: making visible and audible how intrinsically important the formative period of early childhood and friendly relationships with children in the family, kindergarten and school are for our society and also for the future of humanity. I want to make a contribution to this. #### I have a dream: adults will be able to live together in a friendlier, more compassionate and more curious way and then also perceive and support children in their vulnerability and strength. I have great respect for people who live and learn with children. As a process facilitator, trainer and coach, I see myself as a supporter at their side. In my work, I draw on my longing as well as my own mistakes. Getting to know myself better and becoming friendlier, clearer, freer and softer - that is still a learning area for me. I benefit enormously from using the attitude and tools of non-violent communication for myself and from cultivating my mindfulness practice. I am coming more and more into myself and thus into my life in the now. Vielleicht folgerichtig wurde ich Journalistin, arbeitet über 30 Jahre für den öffentlich-rechtlichen Rundfunk und diverse Zeitungen und Zeitschriften. Als Journalistin bin ich es gewohnt, mich auf immer neue Situationen einzulassen und Fragen zu stellen. Aus mehr als 20 Jahren intensiven Beschäftigung mit (Früh-)Pädagogik, Bildungspolitik sowie Themen der Jugendhilfe und der sozialen Arbeit bringe ich einen Überblick über die politische und fachliche Auseinandersetzung auf diesen Gebieten mit. Bis heute koordiniere ich die Kita-Fachtexte, ein Portal mit neuen praxisrelevanten Texten für Kita und Grundschule (www.kitafachtexte.de). Seit 1990 gab ich Seminare – vor allem zur Kommunikation mit Kindern, Öffentlichkeitsarbeit und Schreiben, seit 2008 zur Gewaltfreien Kommunikation. 2018 entschloss mich die Seite zu wechseln und als Prozessbegleiterin, Trainerin und Coach zu arbeiten, um wirksamer zu sein. Empowerment ist das neudeutsche Wort dafür: Sichtbar und hörbar zu werden, wie immanent wichtig die prägende Zeit der frühen Kindheit und freundliche Beziehungen zu Kindern in Familie, Kindergarten und Schule für unsere Gesellschaft und die auch die Zukunft der Menschheit sind. Dazu will ich einen Beitrag leisten. #### Ich habe einen Traum: Erwachsenen gelingt es freundlicher, mitfühlender und neugieriger miteinander zusammen zu leben und dann auch Kinder in ihrer Verletzlichkeit und Kraft wahrzunehmen und zu begleiten. Ich habe einen großen Respekt vor Menschen, die mit Kindern leben und lernen. Als Prozessbegleiterin, Trainerin und Coach sehe ich mich als Unterstützerin an ihrer Seite. Dabei schöpfe ich in meiner Arbeit aus meiner Sehnsucht wie aus meinen eigenen Fehlern. Mich selbst besser kennen zu lernen und dabei freundlicher, klarer, freier, weicher zu werden – das ist nach wie vor ein Lernfeld für mich. Dabei profitiere ich enorm davon, die Haltung und Werkzeuge der Gewaltfreien Kommunikation für mich selbst zu nutzen sowie meine Achtsamkeitspraxis zu pflegen. Ich komme immer mehr bei mir selbst und damit meinen Leben im Jetzt an. Ich liebe mein Leben! ### Meine wichtigsten Lehrer\*innen sind das Leben meine Kinder, meine Familie, meine Freund\*innen Menschen, die mich teilweise bereits seit Jahrzehnten begleiten, von denen hier nur Karin und Klaus Weyler, Imke Mieth und Egbert Mieth (gest.) sowie Annabelle Zinser genannt seien Ausbilder\*innen, die mich durch ihre Workshops sehr prägten sind u.a.
