I stumbled upon Nonviolent Communication (NVC) in late 2015. All I knew was that there was an interesting book titled *Nonviolent Communication: The Language of life*, or *Rakentava ja myötäelävä vuorovaikutus* in Finnish. I went for the book and a few months later found myself in a yearlong course on the basics of NVC. After the course, I had a fire in me to continue, to learn more and to grow.

I am offering NVC trainings locally and supporting Finland-based candidates during their journeys towards certification. I’m also looking forward to strengthening the community both locally and worldwide. I’d love to share more awareness and information about NVC in Finland and in Finnish through my own channels, and to support NVC in empowering others in a way that it has empowered me.

I am a board member of NVC organisation in Finland. Our main aim at the moment is to support candidates registered with CNVC to become certified trainers.
