Darold was one of Marshall Rosenberg’s closest connections for many years, serving at many 9-day International Intensive Trainings (IITs) and contributing to the first edition of [Nonviolent Communication: A Language of Life](https://www.cnvc.org/trainers/deceased/darold-milligan), the book that catapulted Nonviolent Communication in the public eye.
