"My dream is of a world that works for ALL BEINGS. I see NVC as a way to touch into our interdependence and nourish our life energy, so that we can live our way into that world."

For over a decade, I worked in the social development sector in India, particularly with organisations pioneering youth-centric development. I have designed and facilitated interventions for youth leadership, mindset shifts, and dialogue for peace and harmony. Working closely with young people and grassroots communities deepened my understanding of the larger systems we are part of, and how profoundly they shape our choices, relationships and lives.

This work also eventually turned my attention inward. The question I have held since then is: **How do we live, relate and work towards change in ways that honour both our own humanity and that of others?**
Today, I facilitate groups and offer one-to-one coaching around self-leadership, relationships, conflict transformation and dialogue across differences. I am particularly interested in accompanying people who want to live with greater connection to our inherent choice and authenticity, and social change practitioners and leaders who wish to contribute to the world without losing connection with themselves or the humanity of those around them. I also share NVC and NVC based programmes in Hindi to support the spread of its timeless principles in one of the languages of the land.

A significant part of my work is also with families.
Years of working with young people brought me face to face with how profoundly our earliest relationships shape the stories we carry about who we are, who others are, and what the world is like. Alongside this was my own experience of struggle within my family of birth. I found myself wondering: As long as our families remain battlegrounds, how do we imagine peace in the world? This inquiry led me to initiate [Reimagining Family](https://the-homecoming-project.notion.site/Reimagining-Family-b826754cb4b34a6d8fba612720d8f70c?pvs=143), a learning journey where people explore how we might grow in our family relationships without abandoning ourselves in order to belong. I dream of families where belonging and freedom can coexist: where we can be connected and have space to be fully ourselves.

The work I do is also informed by training in Mindfulness-Based Listening with Embodied Presence, Presence-Oriented Psychotherapeutic Processes, Internal Family Systems, and the larger field of Conflict Transformation and Peacebuilding.

**What I hope to contribute:**

I love the title of one of my favourite books by Charles Eisenstein: The More Beautiful World Our Hearts Know Is Possible.
I dream of such a world, where we live with greater abundance and trust. Where we consciously nurture our interdependence through joyful giving and receiving. Where authenticity is celebrated and connection is the norm. Where each of us knows that our needs matter, experiences belonging, and has access to enough inner and collective resources to exercise meaningful choice in our lives.

The inquiry I hold in service of this dream is:

**How do we work towards this world, without reproducing within ourselves and our relationships the very patterns of domination, disconnection and force that we wish to transform? A path rooted in the awareness of our needs and our interdependence.**

I am curious about how NVC can support us beyond communicating differently: to reconnect with our fundamental interdependence (become aware of the power differences and everything else that keeps us separate), step more fully into our inner power and choice, and from that space share power and participate in shaping a world that works for ALL Beings. I am especially interested in its application beyond NVC training rooms: in families, organisations, communities, social change spaces, and wherever people are attempting to bridge differences and create a world that works for more and more of us.

I believe our universal human needs connect us to the life energy that flows through and between us. When we connect with this life energy, we can step into our power, see our interdependence more clearly, and allow our natural compassion to flourish. For me, NVC is a way of continually aligning and realigning ourselves with this flow of life, and my wish is for more and more of us to be supported in doing so.
