I offer therapy for couples and individuals and coaching in communication skills and embodiment. One of the benefits of being of mature age is the gift that time has offered me to identify and do the work that I love. After an early career as an accountant, and now more than thirty years ago, I began to explore my heart and the love that I found inside it. Before long, a career change was in process. I have received training in and learned how to communicate from the heart (with [NVC](https://www.consciousdirections.com.au/nonviolent-communication)), how to be in the body with uncomfortable feelings (with [Focusing](https://www.consciousdirections.com.au/focusing)) and, how to be a therapist for couples (with [EFCT](https://www.consciousdirections.com.au/eft-for-couples)) and individuals (with [Hakomi](https://www.consciousdirections.com.au/hakomi-psychotherapy)) and am currently studying somatic eco-therapy. I help couples to overcome disconnecting patterns of communication and create more loving relationships. This can be difficult for a couple to do on their own, because they are caught in it. I show them how they can create moments of connection that build the emotional safety and bonding between them. I have facilitated personal growth through one on one sessions and in small groups for over 20 years and have run programs in relationships, leadership and parenting. I hold a sacred space, free of judgment, for you to explore anything getting in the way of deep intimacy and connection with your partner. For me to do this requires that I trust that on some level you already know what you need. My job is to support you find it.
