Lisa Gottlieb
Lisa is passionate about Compassionate-Nonviolent Communication and in her coaching practice she supports individuals, couples and families by teaching skills and offering tools to bring more ease, peace, connection, and empathy into their lives.
Lisa also works with businesses, non-profits, faith-based organizations, schools, and other groups to find effective methods to improve communication with participants, staff, and customers, solve problems and increase productivity and worker satisfaction.
Lisa is the co-founder of Great Lakes NVC, where she is a co-trainer with François Beausoleil, another CNVC.org certified trainer.
Since 1977, Lisa has lived and worked in Ann Arbor, MI, raising her children and working from 2000 until 2020 as a school social worker for Washtenaw Intermediate School District in a variety of programs, including the Court-Involved Youth Program, where she initiated the facility's first vegetable gardens and taught yoga and mindfulness.
In addition, Lisa co-founded Selma Café, a non-profit food and breakfast party that supports sustainable agriculture. Lisa is an avid knitter, loves spending time with her family and her 12-year-old Jack Russell, and traveling.
