Ela (Eloisa) Ramos
Ela (Eloísa) Ramos is a CNVC Certified Trainer and Licensed Master Social Worker. She works as a clinical therapist in Taos, New Mexico. Ela has taught Nonviolent Communication (NVC) at learning centers throughout California, Oregon, New Mexico and India since 2007. She combines her passion for NVC with movement, mindfulness, and earth-based practices.
Ela works with communities, non-profits, and companies to facilitate open dialogue and share tools for building connection. She loves addressing social justice and power dynamics in relationships. She is the proud daughter of Mexican immigrants and is a proficient Spanish-speaker.
Ela (Eloísa) Ramos studied yoga, theatre and eastern philosophy at Naropa University and received her B.A. in Liberal Arts from California Institute of Integral Studies. She attended the Somatic Counseling Psychology program at California Institute of Integral Studies. She has a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Highlands University.
Ela includes self-compassion, somatic connection and mindfulness-based exercises in her NVC workshops, trainings and coaching sessions. Her goal is to create an atmosphere where, play, laughter, intimacy and depth allows learning and healing to take place.
