Tom Carlisi

Greetings. I look forward to communicating and collaborating with fellow NVC practitioners and social change advocates. 

Twelve years ago, I had the privilege of meeting Marshall Rosenberg, Ph.D. at the Carter Peace Center in Atlanta, GA, USA. I found the NVC work to be the most inspiring process to help people share heartfelt connections and enhance peace in the world. I committed to incorporate NVC into my personal life, professional work, and to help build an NVC community in Columbus, OH, USA (Compassionate Communication Center of Ohio).

In 2017, I will be teaching a Service Learning course featuring the NVC model at The Ohio State University. I am especially interested in developing a best practice program with researched-based outcomes. I believe this will contribute to the overall CNVC community.
