Karin Garaialde
I have had the opportunity to discover and live in several countries in Europe, as well as in the United States and the Middle East, many different cultures and languages. This is both a challenge and a very enriching experience. It has awakened my curiosity and reflection. How can we understand each other beyond our differences? How can we bond and learn to cooperate with curiosity and joy?
Born in Sweden, married to Olivier from France and mother of three children now aged 26, 24 and 21, these questions inspire me whether it is within the family, with friends, in the corporate world, within governments.
After a degree in hotel management at the Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne, in Switzerland, and ten years in the hotel business, conducting trainings in communication, conflict resolution and team management, I discovered the Nonviolent Communication (NVC) process in 2005.
Since then, this art of living has become a solid basis in my life and in all my human relationships. I like to contribute to raising awareness of one self and the other, to relearn how to create relationships between us based on authenticity, trust and compassion. I believe that by contributing to individual change, we are moving towards collective change where everyone's needs are taken into account.
I am based in France since September 2021, I facilitate trainings for the general public as well as in associations, corporate world, schools, mainly around the themes of relational quality within teams members and how to anticipate and take care of tensions, in Europe and the Middle East.
I facilitate in French, English and Swedish.
I look forward to meeting you!
