NVC Practice & Support Group

(Note: this listing may not be fully up to date. Please see our page for the latest on meeting location and time: thank you) This is an open, welcoming group offering facilitated support of learning and practice of NVC communication skills, with emphasis on practicing the giving of empathy. No formal NVC study is required, though we request that you read the first chapter of "Nonviolent Communication: A Language of Life," which is posted on this website. We sometimes focus on a particular chapter in this book, or on a blog article by the facilitator, Steve Pollack. Above all, we strive to be fully present to what is most alive in the group as a whole and in each individual. Guidelines to our group and orientation document is available at: About 3/4 of the way down the page, please read section "Your First Experience" where you will find two helpful links, including one for orientation information.
