### [Nancy Katyal (India)](https://www.cnvc.org/trainers/nancy-katyal)

##### FROM THE ASSESSOR, [Stephanie Bachmann Mattei](https://www.cnvc.org/trainers/stephanie-bachmann-mattei)

I am delighted to introduce Nancy Katyal as a newly Certified Trainer from Pune, India. Nancy and I first met at IIT Bangalore in 2024, where she arrived with a rich background in learning and sharing Nonviolent Communication (NVC). As the author of *Commit to Yourself*, she brings both depth and clarity to her work. Fluent in Hindi, English, and Punjabi, Nancy is deeply committed to making NVC accessible across all three languages.

She is part of a multilingual cohort of candidates dedicated to expanding the reach of NVC beyond English and Hindi throughout the Indian subcontinent. Our shared journey has been one of genuine mutual enrichment. Nancy embraced one of the most meaningful pieces of feedback from her pre-assessment—to explore “Saying No” as a radical act of care for oneself and others—and has integrated this insight with sincerity and courage.

We are both deeply grateful for the presence and support of [Susanna Warren](https://www.cnvc.org/trainers/susanna-warren), who joined me in accompanying the cohort of Indian candidates, as well as [Anisha Pandya](https://www.cnvc.org/trainers/anisha-pandya) and [Manasi Saxena](https://www.cnvc.org/trainers/manasi-saxena), who continue to contribute to this shared learning journey.

From Nancy:

There was a silence between my daughter and me. I didn’t know how to cross it. I had words, though not the ones that could reach her. One day she asked me, “Mom, what are you not saying? What is deep within your heart?” That question stayed with me. In many ways, that is where my NVC journey truly began.

Hello dear friends,

I’m Nancy Katyal, from Pune. Growing up, my father would often say, “Beta, pause before you respond and speak with care.” I believed him. And yet, I often heard myself say things I didn’t mean. I would go cold when I longed for closeness, and stay quiet when something inside me was asking to be spoken.

In 2011, Nonviolent Communication found me. Not just as a language tool, but as a consciousness and a different way of being. Slowly, I began to listen differently. To hear what lives underneath words. To sense the feelings waiting to be acknowledged, and the needs quietly asking for space.

The certification journey invited me to keep showing up, even when it felt uncomfortable. To stay present in moments where I would earlier have withdrawn. There were times I wanted to step away, especially when I was invited to remain in conversations I would once have avoided. But I kept returning, sometimes slowly, sometimes unsure. And somewhere along the way, something began to shift.

It was in my relationship with my daughter that this work became deeply personal. We began having conversations we had put off for months. Silences that once felt like distance slowly softened into trust. What we share today—the ease, the honesty, the ability to truly hear each other—is something I hold with deep gratitude. And I continue to learn, every single day.

Since 2011, NVC has been at the heart of my work. It offered me something I didn’t know I was missing: a way of connecting that could truly reach people, in boardrooms and living rooms alike. It awakened something within me and helped me discover, with quiet clarity, what I am here to do. For the first time, it felt less like a milestone and more like a homecoming.

I am also committed to making NVC accessible in Hindi and Punjabi, alongside English, across workplaces and colleges in India. Today, I join this community as a Certified Trainer in NVC with the intention to walk alongside people with compassion, courage, and care, one honest conversation at a time.

I feel grateful to my Assessor, [Stephanie Bachmann Mattei](https://www.cnvc.org/trainers/stephanie-bachmann-mattei), for her support, guidance, and warmth; to Susanna Warren for her gentle nudges and support; to my empathy buddy, Priti Sureka, for her care and presence; and to my certification cohort from India for their companionship on this journey.

**Conversations and journeys I facilitate:**

- Art of Having Difficult Conversations with Care
- Transforming Conflict into Connection
- Self-Empathy through NVC
- Parenting with NVC
- Needs-Based Coaching
- D.I.A.L.O.G.U.E at the Workplace

### [Hironari Kawata (Japan)](https://www.cnvc.org/trainers/hironari-kawata)

##### FROM THE ASSESSOR, [Yuko Goto](https://www.cnvc.org/trainers/yuko-goto)

In my experience working with Hironari, I have been deeply inspired by his ability to stay grounded in Nonviolent Communication (NVC) consciousness during challenging situations. I witnessed this firsthand while he was engaging with complex organizational conflicts in his role as a board member. He approached the tension with courage and empathy, beautifully modeling what it means to embody NVC in practical, real-world systems.

What I would most like the network to know about him is his extraordinary long-term dedication. Over time, he has demonstrated a steady, patient, and highly consistent commitment to the NVC candidate community. He offers a reliable and supportive presence that creates a safe container for others’ learning and growth. His grounded nature and practical experience with conflict make him a tremendous gift to our network.

From Hironari:

I first encountered Nonviolent Communication (NVC) in 2016, during a time when I felt stuck in my work and had lost touch with what I truly wanted. When I attended my first NVC workshop in 2017, I was deeply moved by the experience of using feelings as a doorway to needs and finding words for the longings that had been alive in me. From the beginning, NVC was not simply a method of communication for me; it was a path back to connection with myself.

Around 2018, I began to consider becoming a Certified Trainer with CNVC, though at first I did not really know where to begin. One of the most important supports in my Certification Process was a pod with others who were also committed to certification. For several years, we met online once a week for two hours, despite living far apart, and supported one another’s learning and practice. With this certification, all the members of our pod are now becoming Certified Trainers with CNVC. For me, this represents not only an individual achievement, but the power of long-term mutual support and learning in a relationship.

Over time, practicing with the same people brought not only safety and support but also our habitual patterns and reactions. Sometimes conflict arose. At the same time, because trust had grown among us, we were able to offer one another more honest and sometimes challenging feedback. Through this, I became aware of my own tendency, when triggered, to try to “connect with myself” while in practice simply becoming silent and not bringing my experience into relationship. Recently, I have been practicing expressing my experience more consciously and responsibly, instead of processing everything only inside myself. This is still very much an ongoing practice for me.

Especially after my pre-assessment, the Certification Process became a time of facing the question: am I ready to carry the name “Certified Trainer with CNVC” with integrity? Through this inquiry, I have been learning that harmony does not mean avoiding conflict. For me, it includes clarifying purpose, commitment, and boundaries, and staying honestly present with differences and tensions. I hope to continue sharing NVC not as a finished skill, but as a living practice within relationships.

 [ ![Hisae Yamahata Portrait](http://cnvc.org/images/portraits/certified-trainers/Hisae-Yamahata.jpeg)

### [Hisae Yamahata (Japan)](https://www.cnvc.org/trainers/hisae-yamahata)

##### FROM THE ASSESSOR, [Yuko Goto](https://www.cnvc.org/trainers/yuko-goto)

In my experience working with Hisae, I have been deeply moved by her enduring devotion to learning and living Nonviolent Communication (NVC) over many years. She actively supports workshops led by Certified Trainers across Japan, bringing a highly reliable presence. Beyond that, she beautifully embodies NVC in daily life by facilitating a continuous, long-running NVC circle for mothers, creating a nurturing space for connection and growth.

What I would love the network to know about Hisae is her authentic courage and steady impact. Within the candidate community, she consistently demonstrates the bravery to speak up whenever she senses a misalignment, advocating for clarity and shared values. Her long-standing commitment and her willingness to voice her truth make her contributions both deeply impactful and deeply trusted.

From Hisae:

**\[EN\]** What is valued in the Certification Process is not becoming a “perfect trainer” but being a Nonviolent Communication (NVC) practitioner who is committed to continuous learning and growth. NVC is not something that ends with acquiring knowledge or skills; it is a way of living that is practiced daily through our relationships and challenges. Therefore, the Certification Process places greater emphasis on a willingness to keep learning, growing, and nurturing connection with oneself and others than on getting everything “right.” Certification is not seen as a final destination, but rather as a meaningful milestone on the ongoing journey of living NVC.

### [Emiliana Giuliani (Italy)](https://www.cnvc.org/trainers/emiliana-giuliani)

##### FROM THE ASSESSOR, [Stephanie Bachmann Mattei](https://www.cnvc.org/trainers/stephanie-bachmann-mattei)

**\[EN\]** I am more than delighted to announce that Emiliana Giuliani has faithfully and tenaciously completed the Certification Process and is now a newly Certified Trainer serving the Italian community. A teacher by profession, she has dedicated her life to serving young people for decades. Today, I see her continuing to bring creativity, joy, and passion to the sharing of Nonviolent Communication.

I have witnessed Emiliana embody the consciousness of interdependence, compassion, and shared power in every exchange and interaction; especially in the way she meets life's experiences, savoring both the small and great joys, as well as the lighter and heavier sorrows that accompany our human journey. Throughout the certification process, and also during the assessment, many of us were nourished by what I have called—and what I have heard others in the candidate community describe as—her "wisdom," rooted in the experience of a life lived with love and awareness.

One example:

"Simply by being present, I speak of others."

##### From Emiliana:

I first encountered Nonviolent Communication (NVC) through the website of a Catholic priest from Genoa. Through him, I learned about the Esserci Center in Reggio Emilia, where I began and continued my NVC training. Over the years, my learning journey has included an IIT in Coldrano (Bolzano) as well as numerous trainings with both Italian and international trainers. I have participated in the MyL, Living Language (LyL), and PPLP programs, and I am currently attending the Mediare le Relazioni training program with [Giovanna Castoldi](https://www.cnvc.org/trainers/giovanna-castoldi) and [J. Kinyon](https://www.cnvc.org/trainers/john-kinyon). I prepared for my assessment with the support of several people, in particular [Stephanie B. Mattei](https://www.cnvc.org/trainers/stephanie-bachmann-mattei), [Giovanna Castoldi](https://www.cnvc.org/trainers/giovanna-castoldi), [Shera Lyn Parpia](https://www.cnvc.org/trainers/shera-lyn-parpia), [Ortensia Majer](https://www.cnvc.org/trainers/ortensia-majer), and [Ruud Banders](https://www.cnvc.org/trainers/ruud-baanders)

##### FROM THE ASSESSOR, [Susanna Warren](https://www.cnvc.org/trainers/susanna-warren)

It has been a delight to accompany Tareq on his Certification Journey over the past few years. He has been sharing Nonviolent Communication (NVC) far and wide for many years, guided by a deep passion for social change and a vision of a world where resources are accessible to all. I especially cherish Tareq’s inquisitive, curious, and joyful spirit and the playful energy he brings to the community.

From Tarek:

I was first introduced to Nonviolent Communication (NVC) by Ryan McAllister when he offered to support a difficult conversation between me and my partner over 20 years ago. I was surprised and intrigued by the greater ease we experienced with his support, asked him what the "trick" was, and he handed me Marshall's book. I read it, found deep resonance, and began to go through much any NVC audiobooks I could find during my bike commute. For the next couple of years, I longed to deepen my learning, but was constrained by time and money.

In 2008, I co-founded an intentional community, Maitri House, with Ryan and NVC, which formed a basis both in our home culture and practices. Around the same time, [Lynd Morris](https://www.cnvc.org/trainers/lynd-morris) encouraged me to teach NVC in order to learn NVC, which I took great joy in. During these early years, Jane Connor joined Maitri House, [Miki Kashtan](https://www.cnvc.org/trainers/miki-kashtan) stayed with us there on occasion, I participated in practice groups with [Bob Wentworth](https://www.cnvc.org/trainers/bob-wentworth) among others, and [Roberta Wall](https://www.cnvc.org/trainers/roberta-wall) invited me to join the international training team at the first NVC intensive in the West Bank, along with [Sylvia Haskvitz](https://www.cnvc.org/trainers/sylvia-haskvitz), Shantigharba, [Hagit Lifshitz](https://www.cnvc.org/trainers/hagit-lifshitz), and [Yuri Haasz](https://www.cnvc.org/trainers/yuri-haasz).

I co-facilitated NVC training and dialogues with [Peggy Smith](https://www.cnvc.org/trainers/peggy-smith) for nine years at the Seeds of Peace international camp and assisted [Rhonda Freeman](https://www.cnvc.org/trainers/rhonda-freeman) and Mali Parke in running West Virginia Family HEART Camp for even longer. These are some of my earliest influences, which led me to NVC-related collaboration with EcoME, Rising for Life, Nonviolent Global Liberation, the New York Intensive, the DC Peace Team, the Centre for Peacebuilding and Reconciliation in Sri Lanka, Dr. Ruth Kansky (and her human-wildlife action research) in Namibia, and FHC Indiana. And it is at the Indiana camp that Susanna Warren encouraged me to consider certification and offered to work with me to make it a meaningful process at such a late stage in my NVC journey - and so she did, by identifying my residual areas of growth and opportunities to connect with community and practices that had grown somewhat distant over the pandemic years.

### [Eliisa Savola (Finland)](https://www.cnvc.org/trainers/eliisa-savola)

##### FROM THE ASSESSOR, [Angela Walkley](https://www.cnvc.org/trainers/angela-walkley)

Eliisa's journey began with members of the community flagging to her that she should consider joining the Nonviolent Communication (NVC) Certification journey. She needed some convincing, and at the beginning of our four years together, I found her curious and engaged but also a quieter presence. Fast forward four years to Eliisa firmly standing in the power of her vulnerability, knowledge, and leadership with NVC. She naturally flowed into the frequent role of lead facilitator in Trainer Candidate meetings and initiated mediations where conflict arose.

Eliisa’s passion is integrating NVC into educational and community settings through restorative systems and everyday practices. In her role as a Community Coordinator, she works closely with teenagers, young adults, and staff. She facilitates collaborative decision-making and student mediations, leads community-building classes, and supports the development of restorative approaches.

Eliisa is deeply committed to building and sustaining the Finnish NVC community through family camps, peer learning spaces, certification weaves, and as a member of the Finnish NVC association. She aims to contribute to creating platforms for connection, collaboration, and mutual support among Finnish NVC practitioners across sectors, and to walk the path of ongoing learning alongside others.

I have been deeply moved by the way that Eliisa brings her practice into the day-to-day, the fertile ground of parenting. As a Trainer, Eliisa draws on a deep and wide understanding of NVC concepts that she communicates in a way that is clear and relatable. And with her growth in bringing spontaneity and emergent vulnerability forward, I experience a lot of joy, inspiration, and trust in what she is bringing to our community.

Tervetuloa Eliisa uuteen rooliisi kouluttajana CNVC-yhteisössä!

(Welcome Eliisa to your new role as Trainer within the CNVC Community!)

##### From Eliisa:

My journey with Nonviolent Communication (NVC) began at home, with my young children. What surprised me most was not that NVC softened my approach to parenting — though it did — but what became visible when I stopped struggling for control: the infinite creativity of children, and their willingness to find strategies that worked for everyone when they trusted that all needs genuinely mattered. That discovery changed something fundamental in how I understand people and systems.

It also resolved an ethical dilemma I had carried for years. I had long dreamed of working in education, but couldn't reconcile that dream with the power dynamics built into the system. NVC gave me tools to hold that tension — and in doing so, shaped my career. I now work as a teacher and community coordinator, building restorative practices and dialogue into the culture of a community college.

Throughout this journey, one conviction has deepened steadily: we are not meant to do this work alone. NVC has the potential to shift systems built on competition and domination — but only if the people doing that work feel resourced, connected, and sustained. This is why community has become my focus, and where I have chosen to put my energy. My vision is to build and nurture a vibrant Finnish NVC community where practitioners can recharge, collaborate, and find companionship — so that the work of cultural change can continue without burning out the people who carry it.

I arrive at the certification with full awareness that the inner work NVC calls for is lifelong. Yet this journey has given me a direction – I am committed, inspired, and clear about the gift I want to bring: building the structures and community that make this work sustainable for all of us.

### [Cory Tyler (United States)](https://www.cnvc.org/trainers/cory-tyler)

##### FROM THE ASSESSOR, [River Dunavin](https://www.cnvc.org/trainers/river-dunavin)

I am overjoyed to celebrate and recommend Cory Tyler be welcomed as a Certified Trainer with CNVC! Cory completed the pre-assessment and final assessment recently, and I accompanied him for an online celebration of his completing his journey as outlined in the Certification Preparation Packet (CPP) on 2-May-2026. Cory’s embodiment of Nonviolent Communication (NVC) seems evident to me in our interactions and the mentoring we engaged in over the months and years.

I “inherited” Cory as a Certification Candidate from [Jim Manske](https://www.cnvc.org/trainers/deceased/jim-manske) early in 2025, years after he worked with Jim. Cory’s passions are many, and I want to spotlight his commitment to mentoring youth entangled in the criminal justice system of California. Cory is at the heart of an ongoing international men’s group over zoom called The African Diaspora that Jim helped inspire. I am honored to be a colleague of this leader in the company of men of color. Welcome to our beloved Certified Trainers global community!

From Cory:

First, I am overjoyed and honored to enter this community of Certified Trainers and look forward to sharing, learning and contributing in a world where every human being has more than enough to thrive. Nearly 10 years ago, my initial Assessor whom I affectionately refer to as Jedi Master, [Jim Manske](https://www.cnvc.org/trainers/deceased/jim-manske) invited me to consider walking this journey. Now, here I am “entering the chat” as it is said, with a sprint and spry enthusiasm to be of service. The process has been full of pauses, ponderings, pulls, and pushes (all internally, mind you).

When Jim passed away in 2024, the shock, sadness, and then grief moved me to realize the gift of life and the urgency to express a consciousness and skill set that have become so much of who I am today. Between Jim’s support, whose spirit continues to accompany me, and my current Assessor, River Dunavin, I have been enveloped in a circle of love from Certified Trainers across the globe, encouraging me step by step. Jim has a vision of a planet Earth with One Million NVC Certified Trainers on it. I align with this vision and look forward to holding the torch of that intention. Life is like Jazz Music; fluid, colorful, informative, changing tempo and tones. NVC has helped me surf the waves of living life, and this journey of certification has given me the skills to befriend the surfboard upon which I ride the waters.

### [Salil Ganeriwal (India)](https://www.cnvc.org/trainers/salil-ganeriwal)

##### from the assessor, [River Dunavin](https://www.cnvc.org/trainers/river-dunavin)

From my experience, Salil appears as a dedicated, self-reflective, NVC trainer committed to modeling how to live and grow, aiming toward nonviolence. One example is his continuing work and reflections on his intimate family relationships and the tangles emerging therein. Other examples can be found or inferred from his illustrated writings known as Wobbly Wisdom, etc., available online.

I would like the Network to know the following about Salil:

I am enthusiastically recommending that Salil Ganeriwal (from India) be recognized as a Certified Trainer! Salil is at the organizing heart of an international cadre of Certification Candidates (CCs) and dedicated practitioners who share and live NVC principles every day. I say Marshall would be happy knowing Salil as a member of our community. I appreciate Salil's talent as an author, writing about his experience and understanding of open-hearted care, connection, and collaboration. Examples can be found in his illustrated writings known as Wobbly Wisdom, etc., available online. His training style seems warm, clear, and accessible to NVC learners across the arc of knowing and integrating NVC principles and skills. Salil learned for years with [Jim](https://www.cnvc.org/trainers/deceased/jim-manske) and [Jori Manske](https://www.cnvc.org/trainers/emeritus/jori-manske). Jim was in the role of Salil's Assessor, when Jim was my mentor-assessor. I hope you recognize and welcome the gifts Salil brings to our community of Certified Trainers.

from Salil:

By the time Nonviolent Communication (NVC) found me, I had already spent more than ten years inside the Krishnamacharya lineage of yoga philosophy, sitting with Patanjali's Yoga Sutras, learning to pay attention to what lives beneath the surface of things. When I encountered NVC, something in me said: this is the same river. That recognition became the foundation of everything that followed.

My NVC journey spans more than a decade. Over that time, it has grown into a body of work: books, frameworks, and sessions that weave NVC with yoga philosophy and contemplative practice. Zero Step, The Yoga of Connection, The Spiritual Heart of NVC, and most recently The Circle of Gratitude, each one an attempt to plant a seed that others might carry forward in their own way, in their own language, in their own life. That these writings are asking for translations in different languages tells me the spiritual heart of NVC belongs to everyone.

The certification journey itself has been long, nearly 10 years. Not because I was unprepared, but because I kept waiting to feel ready. That waiting, I now understand, was itself something to be witnessed with compassion rather than judgment. What transformed the final chapter of this journey was the quality of accompaniment I received from my Assessor and Mentor, River Dunavin. River did not simply evaluate my competence; River helped me see that readiness is not a feeling that arrives. It is a choice you make about who you already are. When River declared the formal assessment complete and reframed the recognition event as a celebration rather than a test, something shifted permanently in how I understand myself as a trainer.

The foundational teaching of Jim Manske runs quietly through everything I do. Jim's concept of the Zero Step, that inner orientation of willingness that must precede all NVC practice, became not just a framework I teach but a practice I return to daily. I arrive at certification not as someone who has finally crossed a threshold. I arrive as someone who has accepted that they were already on the other side and is now willing to say so.

**\[EN\]** I invite you to join me in celebrating **Iolanda Michelizzi** as a new CNVC Certified Trainer in Italy. A teacher by profession and an author, Iolanda applies Nonviolent Communication (NVC) in educational settings, combining it—in a way I find truly inspiring—with the teaching of Italian literature.

Throughout her certification journey, Iolanda has demonstrated humility and perseverance, cultivating a balanced partnership with herself and with others. Along the path of healing she has embraced, Iolanda has found the freedom and courage to step into her personal power while remaining open to what is alive in herself and in others.

Together with me and with our entire community of Assessors and Certification Candidates, we celebrate the increased access to Nonviolent Communication that Iolanda brings to Southern Italy. Welcome, Iolanda, to the worldwide CNVC Certified Trainer network!

**\[IT\]** Vi invito a celebrare con me Iolanda Michelizzi come nuova formatrice certificata in Italia.

**\[EN\]** My journey began shortly before the COVID-19 pandemic when I attended an in-person course in Naples led by Angela Attianese. From that experience came the opportunity to bring Nonviolent Communication to the school where I work by facilitating a learning group for teachers. From that moment on, I became deeply passionate about NVC and decided to enroll in the CNVC Certification Process so that I could remain as close as possible to the essence and practice of Nonviolent Communication.

My primary motivation was to find new ways of connecting with students and parents. However, I soon realized how profoundly NVC was transforming my relationships with my daughters, my husband, and, indeed, all of my relationships. The training I have undertaken over the years with various trainers has helped me become increasingly aware of the parts of myself that are activated, as well as the beliefs and judgments about myself and the world that influence my relationships.

I have learned to take responsibility for my emotions and, in particular, to transform shame. Through self-empathy, I have come to accept and love myself. The study, dialogue, and even the conflicts that emerged throughout the Certification Process have all been opportunities for both personal and professional growth.

**\[EN\]** Katharina has been registered with me since 2022 and we have been in regular contact about her learnings in teaching, living and knowing Nonviolent Communication (NVC). During several mentoring- and assessment days (3 days each), Katharina was also supported in her process with 360 degree feedback by my team members [Johannes Henn](https://www.cnvc.org/trainers/johannes-henn), [Marina Stege](https://www.cnvc.org/trainers/marina-stege) and [Vivet Alevi](https://www.cnvc.org/trainers/vivet-alevi) and our candidates community. Besides she worked closely with two peer groups, an assessment preparation group and with empathy partners.

I celebrated from the beginning of our journey together Katharina´s commitment to reflect on herself, connect with her feelings and needs and to learn and grow out of this. Several times she chose to do an honest self-expression, even when it has been challenging, to serve her integrity. I always experienced her as willing to listen with empathy and contribute to connection. This created a bond of trust for me.

Katharina is very committed to live NVC in her family and, furthermore, to make it possible for other children to grow up in an empathic surrounding. She shares NVC in schools and kindergartens, her vision is to do it even more. I give special thanks to her creativity and the beautiful flipcharts she provided for our Assessor team to use them on our MAT. Katharina, I am delighted to welcome you to our growing community of trainers!

from katharina:

I first came into contact with Nonviolent Communication (NVC) in 2016, during a challenging period in my career. It helped me to handle difficult situations with more ease and to connect with people in a genuine way. Since then, I have attended numerous workshops and continued to deepen my practice of NVC. From this intensive engagement, my professional path gradually developed. Today, my focus is on working with children and adults within the context of Nonviolent Communication, with the intention of supporting children in a way that helps them maintain their natural access to feelings and needs.

My role as a mother, in particular, motivated me to foster a more peaceful and connected atmosphere within the family. Over time, NVC has become far more than a communication model to me – it has become a way of being that shapes how I relate to myself and others. After completing my NVC trainer trainings, I decided to further deepen my path through CNVC certification. The certification process took place over several years and was, for me, above all an intensive process of personal learning and inner growth. One of the most valuable aspects of this journey was the support of my assessor, Marianne Sikor. She gave me the freedom to follow my own learning path, while I knew she was available as an experienced point of contact whenever I needed support. Her trust, her long-standing experience, and her ability to perceive the unfolding process gave me orientation and a sense of stability.

One of the greater challenges was to engage with old patterns, beliefs, and triggers from my childhood and adolescence. This process opened up many learning and development opportunities and continually invited me to look more deeply. At the same time, there were moments when I reached my limits and experienced doubts about how NVC would continue to be embodied in me and integrated into my work. In retrospect, I see these phases as an important part of my learning journey.

I do not experience the certification as an endpoint, but rather as the beginning of a new chapter. My respect for the depth of Nonviolent Communication and for the responsibility that comes with sharing it has grown significantly during this time. Today, I approach my role as a trainer with great appreciation and mindfulness, and with a clear awareness of the responsibility it involves.
