Embark on a transformative journey with our 8-week virtual course, where you'll explore the enriching principles of Nonviolent Communication (NVC) and collaborative, non-permissive parenting guided by expert facilitator and CNVC Certified Trainer, Matthew Lederman. This course transcends traditional parenting approaches. It emphasizes the crucial first step of tending to your own nervous system and regulation, allowing for a better understanding of your internal experience and enabling you to align your behaviors with your parenting intentions.

In this course, Matt guides you to navigate the challenges and joys of parenthood consciously, fostering a quality of connection with your child that establishes a sense of partnership. Collaborative Non-Permissive Parenting involves working as a team with your child, placing value on and making a sincere effort to involve their input in determining the best ways to meet their needs and influence family strategies. Importantly, it's not about simply acquiescing to the child's desires; rather, it's about ensuring that whatever approach is taken to meet the child's needs also addresses the parent's needs. Rooted in NVC, this approach nurtures empathetic connections, open communication, and a profound understanding of your child's emotions, fostering a supportive environment for mutual growth.

Matt imparts a distinctive skill to participants—the 'Connection Dance,' a seamless rhythm of self-empathy, empathy for others, and honest expression. This dance yields a unique quality of connection, fostering a harmonious and nurturing atmosphere where everyone naturally wants to contribute to each other's needs. Embrace this transformative philosophy, where setting warm boundaries with compassion leads to mutual understanding and cooperation. Join Matt on this enlightening journey, and together, let's cultivate healing communication skills, creating a harmonious, nurturing atmosphere for both parents and children to thrive.
