**Have you ever really wanted to be there for someone or understand them, but not known how?**

- Someone you care about is hurting, and you don't know what to say.
- Someone is angry, and while they are speaking, you are already preparing your defence.
- You are in a difficult conversation, and despite wanting to understand each other, you seem to be moving further apart.

Most of us genuinely want to understand and support the people in our lives. And yet, somehow listening can become difficult. Sometimes, precisely in the moments when it is needed the most.

**What becomes possible when we learn to truly listen?**

Sometimes what creates connection is not what we say next - it is our capacity to stay present and understand. When people experience being heard and understood, things can really shift, not only for them - for everyone involved.

**Welcome to The HeART of Empathy!**

Rooted in Nonviolent Communication, Mindfulness and Presence, this is a deep dive into the heart, art and the practise of empathy.

**During this 6 weeks online journey, we will:-**
✔️ Learn the foundational principles of empathy

✔️ Practice tools and skills that foster greater understanding that can help us during conversations in our lives

✔️ Receive and offer empathy in a safe and supportive learning environment, where making mistakes is welcomed such you can really apply and integrate the learning

🗓️ 19th September- 24th October ⏳ 6 weeks

👥 **Group Size:** 25 participants

💻 Weekly, Online sessions

⏰ Saturday: 6:30 - 8:30 pm IST (2 hours)

The sessions are intended to have a concept sharing followed by empathy practice where we can apply that concept. Each week, participants receive a practice guide and assistance in setting up an empathy buddy practice as well, to support them apply and integrate their learning.
