For many candidates, one of the most challenging stages is preparing their certification portfolio—not because they lack experience, but because they are invited to pause, reflect on their practice, and express it in a coherent and meaningful way. It is often at this point that self-doubt, uncertainty, or a sense of feeling stuck can arise. These workshops were created to offer a safe and supportive learning environment where writing a portfolio no longer has to be a solitary struggle. Instead, it becomes a collaborative process grounded in clarity, empathy, and mutual support. As CNVC Assessors, we would like to share our knowledge and experience while supporting participants in working through the challenges that may emerge during the portfolio-writing process. During the workshops, participants will have the opportunity to: -take the first—or next—concrete steps in describing their NVC practice, -receive supportive, growth-oriented feedback, -experience how collaborative work and empathic support can restore a sense of confidence, agency, and trust in their own competencies, -exchange experiences with others who are writing their portfolios and receive the support they need. Our intention is that, after these workshops, the process of creating a certification portfolio will feel clearer, more structured, and easier to continue at each participant's own pace. These workshops are an invitation to pause, organize your experience, and give it meaningful form—without pressure, judgment, or haste. They are designed for people who wish to deepen their practice of Nonviolent Communication, value relational learning, and appreciate the richness of moving through challenging stages of development together. Who are these workshops for? These workshops are intended for people who are currently in the process of becoming CNVC Certified Trainers (or are interested in the certification journey) and are either preparing their certification portfolio or considering it as the next step in their development. We welcome participants who are looking for support with writing, wish to organize and articulate their experience, and would like to express it in a way that reflects the spirit of Nonviolent Communication. The workshops are also open to people who are developing their NVC practice and see the certification process as a valuable learning journey—even if they are not planning to apply for certification in the immediate future. They may be especially helpful for those who want to better understand how to document and describe their practice while preparing thoughtfully for the certification process. We especially invite people who value collaborative learning, group process, and the opportunity to exchange experiences. If you enjoy working in an atmosphere of presence, mutual support, and partnership, these workshops have been designed with you in mind.
