**Welcome to my Introduction to Nonviolent Communication workshop!**

In this interactive two-hour workshop, I invite you to explore the foundations of Nonviolent Communication (NVC) and discover how it can change the way we relate to ourselves and others.

We'll look at how we tend to respond when someone says or does something we don't like, and explore the different choices we have in those moments. You'll be introduced to the four components of NVC — observations, feelings, needs and requests — and we'll practise recognising the needs behind what we say, think and do.

Through examples, discussion and practical exercises, you'll get a first taste of what it means to listen with empathy, express yourself honestly and create more understanding and connection in your relationships.

Whether you're curious about NVC for your personal relationships, family life or work, you're warmly invited to join us. No previous experience is needed.

You're also very welcome if English isn't your first language. People join these workshops from around the world, so please check the time in your own time zone.

Please note that this workshop may be recorded. The recording may be shared with people who were unable to attend, and short excerpts may also be used to share and promote my work. The recording shows the person who is speaking rather than a gallery view. You are welcome to keep your camera off if you prefer not to appear on screen. If you speak with your camera on, you may appear in the recording.
