Annual Trainer Survey 2024

    Dear Certified Trainers,

    Please fill out this survey by 15-Aug-2024 as part of the annual renewal process to maintain your active status as a Certified Trainer with the Center for Nonviolent Communication.

    This survey helps us to understand the impact that we are making around the world; learn how we can better support you; and make your relationship with CNVC more meaningful.

    We estimate it will take you 15 to 35 minutes to fill out this survey, depending on how many of the optional questions you answer. Questions with * are required. The following people will see your responses and that they came from you:

    1. Board of Directors
    2. Executive Director and 1-2 staff members who compile the results
    3. Assessors Coordinating Circle and Programs Coordinating Circle (but only responses to questions that relate directly to their domains)

    Otherwise, your answers will be anonymous -- we will NOT associate your name with any of your comments. We will, however, publish your responses anonymously to all Members (Certified Trainers, Board Members, and Staff).

    This survey is one of two steps to renew your active status in 2024; the other is the Annual Trainer Contribution. Please note that you do NOT need to sign the Trainer Agreement in 2024 since it remains the same as it was last year (assuming that you signed it in 2023).     Being an active trainer enables you to post your events and workshops on the CNVC website; maintain access to the Global Home; and have your own trainer page on the website, among other benefits.

    D. Annual Trainer Contribution

    To decide the amount of your Annual Trainer Contribution in 2024, please take into account the following factors:

    1. Your ability to pay: What financial resources do you have access to?
    2. Desire to support the Center for Nonviolent Communication: How much would you like to help us grow and thrive as an organization?
    3. The value that you receive: How is your life enriched by being associated with CNVC? In what ways does being a Certified Trainer help you share NVC in the world?

    Please choose an amount that is a modest stretch for you, but that also allows you to maintain your security and well being. We have budgeted to receive an average contribution of USD $325 (convert to another currency), which will help our global organisation to evolve, grow, and become more effective in sharing the principles of Nonviolent Communication throughout the world.

    After considering these factors, whether your answer is $500, $50, or $5, we invite you to choose that amount. We want you to make this contribution while living the NVC principles of willingness and contributing to life. If your amount is $0, please fill out this form anyway.

    We are grateful if you can contribute more than our average goal of $325 -- this will support trainers who can realistically only contribute a fraction of that. One other factor you might consider when choosing your amount is the economic situation in your country, as shown in global indexes for cost of living and average annual income. This allows you to see the equivalent of USD $325 in your country.
