A. Aproximadamente, ¿cuántos días de entrenamiento le hicieron este año?:
12
B. Briefly list the groups and organizations you worked with this year as a trainer.:
this report is only from october to december 2012, i've been working with the general public in rooms rented in a te shop, a toy shop and a bookshop in Barcelona, spain.
C. Approximately how many people did you offer NVC training to this year?:
35
D. What are you celebrating about your training experiences this year? What was significant for you? What touched your heart?:
i'm doing my courses by donation and people are responding with gratitude and generosity. they offer to organize workshops for me and gather friends and family to come. i'm very touched by the support and care i have received from them. i'm also touched by their willingness to learn and look for meaning in their lifes!
F. How do you teach the spiritual basis of Nonviolent Communication in your workshops and training programs? :
i usually do a body meditation where people are directing their attention to the different parts of their bodies and i say that although we use concepts in nvc, the consciousness we are cultivating is one that goes beyond concepts and looks for the present moment, staying in contact with what is going on in us with kind awarness and empathy.
G. Please describe your social change goals...:
toghether with a couple of friends we are offering a year programme in nvc and making moves to have an asessor who speaks spanish so people in spain can get the certification. and i'm part of a buddhist order called triratna and i'm living in barcelona together with other order member starting a buddhist centre in the city.
J. Please describe your efforts to create, or join, an NVC circle or organization.:
helen adamson, julia martinez and me are now looking for the best options to create an organization to be able to reach more people and to match the legal requirements of the country.
K. Summarize participants’ evaluations, and how their feedback resulted in new learning or growth for you this past year.:
i think generally they wanted more time to practice with their own situations in life
L. What are your current growing edges or challenges as a trainer that you will be working on in the future?:
i'm learing to be more empathic with myself and that increases my ability to stay present with whatever comes up for me and others. when i'm facilitating groups i'm becoming aware of my capacity to let go and trust the wisdom that emerges from the empathic connection and to let it take us where it takes us.
M. If you found opportunities to work with other trainers this year, please share the most meaningful experiences for you.:
i'm sharing with helen adamson, soon will be certified trainer, the most moving is when we both tell each other fears and judgements toward each other and we listen with empathy.
N. Is there anything else you would enjoy sharing with the CNVC network?:
i'm greatful and happy to have a network like this where we are collectively supporting meaningful relations and diminishing innecesary suffering in the world
