Empathy First

We are a twice monthly, 90 min., practice and study group, open to anyone interested in Compassionate Communication. We meet for 90 min on the first and third Saturday afternoon of the month at 2 PM. in the eastern area of Pittsburgh (Swissvale). The structure we are currently following as of(1-30-2014)is: we open with a presence exercise, have a brief check-in, practice at giving and receiving empathy till 2:30 then focus on an exercise or theme relating to a principle of Compassionate Communication - ending close to 3:30 with a round of harvesting. We are currently taking our themes and exercises from the work of Marshall Rosenberg, Jim and Jori Manske, Ike and Judith Lasiter, Lucy Leu, and John Cunningham. Please call Dave Russell at 412-271-7660 for information on joining to group.
