Ann Arbor Compassionate Communication Practice Group

An interactive Compassionate Communication practice group based on the work of Marshall Rosenberg, the founder of NVC and is open to new members. The group requests that members have some familiarity with NVC and envision that could be in the form of having read Nonviolent Communication, A Language of Life by Marshall Rosenberg, or another general NVC book that uses the NVC model, attended an NVC training or basic NVC communication class, or practice group. The group format is focused on allowing members to use the majority of their time on developing and growing your NVC skills through practice time on a given NVC related topic. Our goal is to provide a supportive space for people to learn how to integrate NVC consciousness more fully in their every day life. The format typically includes opening circle/NVC learning/education piece/ short demo on learning/education piece/practice time of learning/education piece via dyads or triads/group discussion to harvest lessons learned/closing.
