45
B. Briefly list the groups and organizations you worked with this year as a trainer.:
Early Childhood Development Support Services, Edmonton, AB CNVC IIT Central Alberta Library Services Surround Circle Yoga Studio
C. Approximately how many people did you offer NVC training to this year?:
618
D. What are you celebrating about your training experiences this year? What was significant for you? What touched your heart?:
I was more authentic and transparent when things came up that I found challenging. I got more comfortable with saying something like "would you be up waiting to see if this next exercise will answer that question?"
E. Would you share some difficult experiences you had while training this year and how you handled them?:
One of the more challenging things for me is dealing with questions and the more abstract they are, the more challenging I find them - see above for how I handled this. I have had some health challenges over the past year and that's made it very challenging to stay present - how I handled that was to let go of some planned sessions so that I could take care of myself. In one instance, I felt really uncomfortable doing so as it was at a more distant area of Alberta without access to other trainers. (I did it tho by using the skills of NVC to listen to the organizer!) At one training, I was sharing
J. Please describe your efforts to create, or join, an NVC circle or organization.:
In May 2014, I moved back to Ottawa, ON after having spent many years away from this city. I've had some interactions with other NVCers in the area and am hopeful of building more community and connection with the folks who are offering NVC here.
L. What are your current growing edges or challenges as a trainer that you will be working on in the future?:
Staying connected to myself, trusting myself and acknowledging the gifts I bring to my sharing NVC are my growing edges.........
M. If you found opportunities to work with other trainers this year,┬áplease share the most meaningful experiences for you.:
I notice how much preference I have for teaching solo - I so enjoy how that supports me in staying with my own flow and going with the instincts and hunches I have. I love this so much, it's fun and easy! So far I haven't found someone I'd like to co-facilitate with where I could experience my own flow and collaborate as well!
N. Is there anything else you would enjoy sharing with the CNVC network?:
i feel so blessed to be sharing these tools with others - NVC has made an enormous difference in my life
