When was the last time you experienced being seen and understood?

Every day around the world, the Center for Nonviolent Communication supports the transformation of how we speak to ourselves and one another; one empathic conversation at a time speaking the “Language of Life” known as Nonviolent Communication (NVC) by Marshall B. Rosenberg, PhD. Start here to find NVC resources and learning opportunities, including many free and available right now.

Nonviolent communication online sessions:

Help us raise funds for training in Nigeria

Join us for an online learning experience of Nonviolent Communication that we hope will be enlightening and transformational, and that will help us raise much-needed funds to make NVC training possible in Nigeria this November. Over 6 sessions with Certified trainers from July to October 2024 you will learn how to cultivate compassionate communication skills and explore ways to build a more harmonious and peaceful community.

Immerse yourself in the language of Nonviolent Communication (NVC) up to nine days in residence

CNVC‘s signature International Intensive Trainings, also known as IITs, allow you to fully live and breathe NVC. Like learning and practicing a new language, fully and intentionally immersing yourself can be the best way to gain new skills and NVC fluency. Beautiful locations and camaraderie — a retreat sure to inspire!

DID YOU KNOW: After becoming Microsoft's CEO "One of the first things he [Satya Nadella] did was give all senior executives a book. A "required reading" for leadership, Nadella's gesture was the first sign of a monumental transformation for Microsoft's brand and company culture. That book, called Nonviolent Communication by psychologist Marshall B. Rosenberg, is a book about one thing above all else: empathy EQ". (published in INC article)
