INTERNATIONAL INTENSIVE TRAINING
USA - Albuquerque, New Mexico, September 17-26, 2012

Program: This International Intensive Training (IIT) is a 9-day, Nonviolent Communication “immersion experience.” It is a residential workshop led by a team of experienced CNVC certified trainers. The purpose of this IIT training is to offer people the opportunity to live the process of Nonviolent Communication in community over an extended period of time, in order to develop Nonviolent Communication knowledge, skills and consciousness.

Trainers: Lead Trainer - Raj Gill
Raj Gill began practicing Nonviolent Communication in 2001 and currently serves as a CNVC certified trainer and life skills coach. She is the founder of Inclusive Leadership Adventures, a training program for young leaders to which she brings over 30 years of teaching and facilitating experience. Raj offers NVC workshops and coaching in diverse setting from schools and educational institutions to prisons, businesses, non-profit organizations and to members of religious communities. She is a strong believer in the power of compassion and human connection for resolving conflict and creating universal success. “I love creating and sustaining environments for mutual learning and sharing. For the past three years I had the opportunity to work with Lucy Leu and Judi Morin to publish the NVC Toolkit for Facilitators -- my friends and colleagues helped me learn and grow.”  

Martha Lasley ImageSupport Trainer - Martha Lasley
Martha co-founded Leadership that Works, an organization that trains and coaches visionaries. Her passion is integrating NVC, coaching, and organization development. As a partner In the Coaching for Transformation program, she mentors people to become certified coaches. Her passion is designing learning programs that deepen NVC consciousness and ignite transformation. Martha coaches leaders and social change activists to develop a culture of collaboration and partnership. With Miki Kashtan, she offers a year-long program, Making Collaboration Real: Empowering the workplace with NVC. She has presented several programs at the annual conference for International Association of Facilitators, including "Facilitating Difficult Conversations," and "Coaching for Personal & Organizational Transformation." She has written three books: Coaching for Transformation, Facilitating with Heart and Courageous Visions. As a trainer for the Center for Collaborative Communication, she works to build capacity in the NVC community and create the tipping point that will make NVC available to everyone globally. Combining her experience teaching NVC in graduate courses and ten years of teaching in Capella University's online MBA program, Martha is immersed in designing an online learning program for NVC facilitators.

Thom BondSupport Trainer —Thom Bond
Thom brings 27 years of human potential experience and training experience to his work as an Internationally Certified NVC Trainer. His passion and knowledge of Nonviolent Communication (NVC) combine to create a practical, understandable, humorous, and potentially profound, approach for learning and integrating the skills of peacemaking. He is described as concise, inspiring, sincere and optimistic, applying transformational and spiritual ideas and sensibilities to real-life situations. Many of his students become active facilitators, trainers and practitioners.

As a writer, teacher, speaker and coach, Thom has taught tens of thousands of clients, participants, readers and listeners Nonviolent Communication. He has been published or featured in The New York Times, New York Magazine, Yoga Magazine, and is a regular guest on radio and television.

Thom is the creator of www.theexercise.org, which has been done by over 36,000 people who experienced a shift towards compassion. He is the author and facilitator of the Compassion Course Online which has over 1,000 participants from 54 countries. Aniruddha's PhotoSupport Trainer —Aniruddha

Aniruddha is an MBA graduate from a prominent management institute in India, and he has been associated with and worked for many major companies for over 18 years.

As an internationally certified trainer in Nonviolent Communication, Aniruddha has got an extra edge in the field of communication. He specializes in mediation, conflict resolution and reconciliation, as well as in leadership development and team building. Aniruddha is a master facilitator and offers trainings to different corporate houses and NGOs. Being down-to-earth, he’s well known for his warmth and insightful teaching approach. Aniruddha is constantly on the move, offering workshops, addressing seminars and giving keynote speeches.

Aniruddha’s mission is to make this planet Earth a peaceful and harmonious place. 



Madonna Center ImageVenue: Madonna Retreat & Conference Center rests atop the West Mesa and has a panoramic view of the Sandia Mountains, the Rio Grande River, and the City of Albuquerque. One can see spectacular Southwestern sunrises and sunsets. The Center is located eight miles from downtown.

Travel: The nearest airport is Albuquerque Sunport International Airport, about 14 miles. The Madonna Retreat is near highways I-25 and I-40.

Participants are asked to wait until their registration in the IIT has been confirmed before booking travel reservations.

Fee: Total IIT Fees consists of a tuition fee of $2,340 (payable to CNVC) and accommodation fee (payable to the venue) - as outlined in the table below. No part of the fees is optional or negotiable.
Early Bird Discount: Receive a $234 discount on tuition (10% off tuition) on payments received in full by 8/17/2012 (1 month prior to start of IIT).
Other discounts: If you are a registered certification candidate with CNVC or have attended a CNVC IIT before, we offer you a $351 discount on tuition (15% discount off tuition) (not to be combined with other offers).

Vegetarian and non-vegetarian choices are available at each meal and are included in the accommodation fees.

2. CNVC usually acknowledges your application within 5 business days; please contact the IIT department if you did not receive a confirmation.

  • Applications sent before June 17, 2012: Enclose full or partial payment (minimum $100 USD). Balance due August 17, 2012.
  • Applications sent on or after August 17, 2012: Enclose full payment of all fees, in US Dollars.
  • Once you have been enrolled, CNVC will connect you with the venue so that you may finalize accommodation choice and process accommodation payment directly with them. Half of the accommodation fee is due upon registration with venue, of which half is nonrefundable. Remaining fees to the venue are due upon arrival September 17, 2012.
