Would you like to be able to identify your feelings and needs with more ease and confidence?
Would you like to have a trusting and friendly relationship with your body?
Would you like assurance that all body sensations (enjoyable and painful) are caring invitations to meet or celebrate needs?
In this 3-hour class you will be introduced to simple yoga practices chosen specifically to help you learn and integrate NVC as a living practice.
You will learn to listen to and honor the sensations moving through you, relax tension that masks sensation, translate sensations into feelings and needs, and bask in the direct experience of meeting some needs for support, rest, safety and acceptance.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Marcia Miller has been teaching yoga for 35 years and is one of the
owners of Yoga on High. She is passionate about teaching NVC and
yoga to inform and complement each other as tools to self-knowledge
and to see the beauty in yourself and others. She is bringing
NVC to the yoga community and yoga to the NVC community.
Who is it for
This class is designed for anyone with some NVC training (has the basic understanding of feelings and needs). No previous yoga experience or degree of flexibility is necessary.

What to Bring
Many of the practices will be done in a chair, and you will be invited (though not required) to lie down on the floor. Wear loose, comfortable clothing (no jeans or panty hose please). You will be practicing in bare feet.
