Details

Nonviolent Communication(NVC) allows people to peacefully influence the organisations, communities and social systems that impact their lives. Its principles and practice are designed for social change and transformation work.
•Explore the different purposes of “power-over” and “power-with” paradigms
•Work experientially to recognise power and privilege
•Learn more about how to sustain dialogue and care across power differences
•Explore the cutting edge of transforming systems and taking nonviolent civil action
•Practice using these skills in your own situations
•Meet your own needs for power, respect and contribution with more awareness and skill
•Build your resilience under pressure
•Learn how to remain centred and empathic to break deadlocks
•Renew and improve the skills learnt in Nonviolent Communication trainings
•Set up feedback loops that work! Join us to explore how this process can enable you to be the change you want to see and to work in solidarity and respect with those who long for change – and with those who fear or resist it. A longing for a different world for us to share, or an awareness that our current structures are not working, is often an access point to NVC.
