Details

The location for this workshop is world-renowned Esalen Institute on the central coast of California, on the cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean. In addition to the 10 hours of experiential coursework, you will have ample time for delicious meals, soaking in mineral baths, or signing up for a massage (extra fee for this), hiking, swimming, browsing the bookstore, movement classes, meditating, or spending creative time in the Art Barn. Phones, newspapers, and computers are scarce; and quiet and beauty are abundant. Journaling and self-reflection time are encourage.

This is Jean's 15th year to provide trainings at Esalen, and her 28th year of providing trainings in various parts of the world. Jean, her assistant, and the collective group experience provide excellent support for each participant to learn and integrate the principles and practices of "A Language of LIfe."

In an interactive, supportive learning environment, we’ll discover old habits of mind and speech that produce distress and walls of separation, and explore and practice new habits that create compassion, connection, and healing within ourselves and with others. We’ll learn steps to liberate our thinking and reactions so that we transform anger, hurt, guilt, and disappointment into energy and expressions that revitalize our relationships and support our life's goals and challenges.
