Matrix Mentoring Telephone/Skype Empathy & Skills Practice Group

If you want to learn & practice NVC to deepen your own embodiment, you are sharing NVC with others, or you want to begin to share NVC with others, this program is designed for you. Two 1.5 hour group calls May through July, usually the 2nd and 4th Mondays 5-6:30p.m. PT. In July we will decide if it is attending to all our needs to meet in August or for longer.

Calls will be recorded and made available on our members only interactive group website. Note: This has not yet occurred. I am requesting support in learning how to do get the MP3 file downloaded to my computer and then uploaded unto our private members only groupsite. Please contact me if you would like to offer that support.

I would like to offer the program freely to those who would like to participate and I request donations/gifts to me for my sustainability and to support my lifework. It is important to me that the program be offered aligned with my values that all needs be considered with equal weight; both your financial situation and my needs for sustainability so that I am able to put my energy totally into my lifework without money considerations interfering with my joy of giving. The calls and program are offered in this spirit of joyful giving, sacred presence and inclusive community. On the calls it is my intention to include all voices, hold needs tightly and strategies lightly and offer structure to support that happening. Your invitation is to practice the three modes of NVC (self empathy, empathy for others and self-expression) while on the call and to ask for support on the call.

A Matrix constitutes the place or point from which something else originates, takes form, or develops. Matrix Mentoring refers to the process we engage in together to create something new.... or perhaps we shall together re-create our access to ancient wisdom emergent in our group as we work together. Some of us are currently sharing NVC with others, some of us would like to begin to do that, and some of us are on an individual path of self-growth and discovery.

What are we co-creating?

A WORLD INTERWOVEN AND INTERDEPENDENT, that supports and sustains us all.

Purpose: The intent of Matrix Mentoring is to reinforce and deepen our understanding and internalization of Nonviolent Communication principles and skills. Participants nurture and support one another as they explore their growing edges and deepen their practice. Mair Alight facilitates that process, bringing her guidance and experience to the group call and offering 1:1 individual calls.

This group is facilitated by Mair Alight, CNVC Certified International Trainer. We can "break-out" into dyads or small groups for empathy or practice sessions. I can "walk the room" or come to your group for support. This allows for connection and attention regardless of the number of people on the call.
This is for people who are learning to practice NVC and are sharing-or beginning to share-with others.

Mair is a Certified International Trainer with the Center for Nonviolent Communication, participated in the first BayNVC Leadership Program 2001-2002, Co-founder of the Safer Communities Project (2002-weekly offerings of NVC in prisons and jails), Collaborative Trainer with BayNVC, and Ambassador for BayNVC.
