Program: This International Intensive Training (IIT) is a 9-day, Nonviolent Communication “immersion experience.” It is a residential workshop led by Marshall Rosenberg PhD a team of experienced CNVC certified trainers. The purpose of this IIT training is to offer people the opportunity to live the process of Nonviolent Communication in community over an extended period of time, in order to develop Nonviolent Communication knowledge, skills and consciousness. Venue: The I Grappoli hotel is located in a very quiet and sunny area next to a huge park. There is an outdoor swimming pool and lots of open space for a walk. Their restaurant has an International and Mediterranean cuisine. The perfect spot for persons who want to relax. Travel: The I Grappoli is closed to Lugano and the Italian border. You can fly into Lugano Airport; Via I Grappoli is only 17 km (30 min) away. For international flights you may choose Milan (Italy). Fee: IIT Fees and options below, fees are not negotiable. Participation: You can choose when and for how long (the dates and number of days) you wish to stay. The minimum is one night. Programme: Each day there will be a number of official 2 hour workshops run by certified trainers. Up to now the following trainers have confirmed their participation for one or more days: Christa Buschbaum, Eva Rambala, Godfrey Spencer, Klaus Karstädt, Louise Romain, Michael Dillo, Shona Cameron, Towe Widstrand. Further trainers, including french speaking ones, have been invited. The meeting is thus envisaged as a multicultural gathering for german, english and french speakers. Furthermore the Summer Days will follow the principles of Open Space, i.e. the timeta-ble/design of each day will be structured during morning and evening sessions so that everyone has the possibility to express their own needs and interests of how to enjoy the day, offer further sessions beyond the official workshops, and more. Children: Children and young people are welcome to participate and co-create the programme. Younger children will be taken care of by babysitters during certain hours.
