This Practice Group begins with a "remembering" for inspiration, centering and connecting with ourselves. This is followed by a "check-in" when we share how we are, what we bring with us or what we hope to receive during the session. Activities include: short education exercises, empathy, role-plays, games and discussions. Participants can facilitate the group with prior arrangement with Rodger Sorrow

Empathy and self-empathy are common themes, as well as compassionate honesty, gratitude, celebrating and mourning. This is a 16-hour foundation workshop for people who would like to improve communication with children in their lives. It will give you all the tools you need to start using NVC in your daily life. We work with real life examples in a fun and safe environment.

Would you like to learn how to transform your communication?
This workshop runs from 10am-5pm on Saturday and Sunday, and * Introduces you to the steps of the NVC process for use in expressing yourself to others, listening to others and listening compassionately to yourself * Gives you sufficient information and practice to start using NVC in your daily life. * Is run in an experiential style working with examples from participants' lives. * Uses the NVC Dance Floors for integrated, dynamic learning. * Is a recognised stepping stone to further NVC training.
Fee: We would like to receive £130 (business rates on application). Low-income and Sangha (Buddhist community) rate: £90.

Als we ons richten op wat we waarnemen, voelen en nodig hebben in plaats van op onze diagnose en oordeel, komen we in contact met onze natuurlijke neiging tot mededogen. Op deze manier kunnen we vaak een onverhoopt diepe verbinding realiseren met onszelf en de ander.

Nonviolent Communication är ett stöd för dig som vill lära dig kommunicera på sätt som skapar mer kontakt och mindre motstånd. Det är en kommunikationsprocess som hjälper oss att skapa en dialog där vi kan mötas i samförstånd. För den här kursen används ett digitalt klassrum där du får individuell feedback på din uppgifter. Där har du också möjlighet att dela funderingar och insikter med andra som går kursen.
Kursinnehåll: Varje vecka behandlar vi ett kapitel i boken Nonviolent Communication, ett språk för livet. Du gör övningar för att tillämpa det du lär.
Kursmoment och arbetssätt: Kursen är helt på distans, utan fasta träffar och vi möts via Internet. Du kan alltså befinna dig vart du vill så länge du har tillgång till Internet vilket innebär ett flexibelt lärande där du själv kan välja när du gör de uppgifter som följer med utbildningen.
