Bookstore FAQ

Shipping:
Shipping & handling charges are based on the weight and destination of each order.  Please contact a CNVC Bookstore representative to discuss options not offered on the website. 

Please note that while we offer multiple shipping & handling options, a number of options do not include tracking.  If you choose one of these options, CNVC cannot be held responsible for non-delivery of your order; we cannot replace items lost (or damaged?) in transit.  Once an order is processed and on its way, CNVC will email you a sales receipt; if you choose a shipping method that includes tracking, we will provide carrier’s tracking number on the sales receipt.  Details of tracking are dependent on the carrier of your order; some records do not show movement of a package until it is delivered.  (Please do not contact CNVC until after the “Expected Arrival” date listed on your sales receipt.) 

Returns:
We will accept product returns within 30 days of receipt domestically and within 45 days of receipt internationally.  Items must be in original re-sellable condition.  CDs and DVDs cannot be returned if opened; damaged CDs and DVDs can only be exchanged for the same product.  Shipping & handling charges are non-refundable.  Product returns are subject to a restocking fee equal to 10% of the sales price. 

Discounts:
CNVC offers a discount opportunity for customers for a supporting contribution of $35.00 per year.  The CNVC (membership) allows customers to enjoy 10% off their CNVC Bookstore purchases for one full year. 

Discounts cannot be combined. 
Volume discounts are available for purchases greater than $500.00 retail value. 

Questions:

Why should I purchase items from CNVC when I can find them for less elsewhere?
As a non-profit organization, we understand that the current economy requires all of us to assess our finances carefully.  When you make a purchase through CNVC for your NVC materials, you support our mission as an organization to support the learning and sharing of NVC globally. 

Will you share my personal contact information with anyone?
CNVC does not share any customer information with (non-NVC  affiliated?) organizations or businesses.  We may share contact information with Certified Trainers so that they may individually contact CNVC supporters within their geographic area, but ONLY in reference to NVC-related activities and events.  You may choose to “opt out” of being on a potential mailing list or email list if you are not interested in this possibility.
