The European NVC Summer Festival 2009

Out of our wish to spread and deepen the usage of Nonviolent Communication we invite You to The European NVC Summer Festival 2009!

The European NVC Summer Festival gathers people from all over Europe and beyond who share an interest and passion for NVC (Denmark 2004, Poland 2005, Germany 2006, Holland2007, Austria 2008). In the spirit of previous European NVC Summer Festivals, this festival will be held with an open space format. The open space format gives us the possibility to make requests about activities that serve our needs, and also an opportunity to contribute in the various ways we choose to.

is festival is meant to be a place both for you who know very little about Nonviolent Communication, and for You with many years of experience and training. Using NVC among those close to you can contribute to a  deeper connection, closeness and authenticity. Using NVC in your workplace or organization can contribute with efficiency, support and togetherness. It can also provide forms for feedback which create development, meaning and appreciation. Globally the NVC process can create structures, forms and actions that make it possible for everyone’s needs to be met.

"I appreciate this event and festival for many reasons. Togetherness, play andmost of all hope. The hope comes when I every year see how we support each other in leading the group. Share responsibilities, receive and give - all without hierarchical structures." - Liv Larsson

"Icome back every year to meet those who have become my friends.  Here I find inspiration, can try new ideas and share my gifts. I can really recommend this week for you who value playfulness, learning and togetherness." - Kay Rung

"I like the mixture of familiar and new faces every year. It inspires me to experience so many people giving workshops and to get feedback on my own workshops and ideas. I can warmly recommend the festival to all who are curious about NVC and want to experience valuable encounters with others." - Johan Rinman
