My Vision, Mission and Aim

Vision:

We envision creating a world where everyone wants to belong, one peace at a time; a world where people are contributing to the well-being of each other in mutually satisfying ways.

Using authentic expression and empathic listening we can inform ourselves and make choices that consider and address the experience and needs of all.

Misión:

We refer to our experience of Nonviolent Communication as Radical Compassion.

Through offering the various tools and practices of Radical Compassion, we help participants to connect more fully with themselves and others. We design our training to stimulate creativity and build resources with a focus on experiential learning; we help communities to develop ongoing systems to support one another in integrating Nonviolent Communication into the everyday fabric of their lives.

We offer training, facilitating, conflict transformation, mentoring and coaching. Our focus is on building community by creating healthy relationships, and fostering relationship by attending to personal liberation.

Aim:

We offer our work locally in Hawaii, by telephone and teleconference, nationally and internationally. Along with a team of Certified Trainers, we are co-creating the Compassionate Leadership community and long-term training, and the Pathways to Liberation online community. We travel by request to support developing communities where no certified trainer is currently living.

Additionally, we offer training in Compassionate Leadership, Conflict Transformation, and Trainer development. Our social change focus is on transforming systems involved with health care, conflict resolution and creating life-affirming networks.

We base our work in Haiku, HI on the beautiful island of Maui.
