This Practice Group begins with a "remembering" for inspiration, centering and connecting with ourselves. This is followed by a "check-in" when we share how we are, what we bring with us or what we hope to receive during the session. Activities include: short education exercises, empathy, role-plays, games and discussions.

In deze Introductietraining van 5 avonden leer je onder meer zien wat maakt dat jouw communicatie-strategieën soms niet werken. Ook ontdek je hoe je kunt achterhalen wat er in jezelf en in de ander leeft. En hoe je daar uitdrukking aan kunt geven op zo'n manier dat de ander naar je luistert. En 'last but not least' je leert in verbinding te blijven met de ander, ook als het lastig wordt.

Role plays, puppets, games may be used to increase ease in understanding and implementing new skills.Class will proceed with a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 12 participants. $60-40 sliding scale. Empathy and self-empathy are common themes, as well as compassionate honesty, gratitude, celebrating and mourning. NVC enables us to connect empathically with other people, and helps us
to help them to connect empathically with us. But what do you do when
you are feeling angry or upset to the extent that you don't want to
empathise with them? And they feel the same about you?! We call this
empathy collision, and on this day we will explore what is happening in
these situations and how we can get around this impasse. This day will
be practice oriented, to help you develop and rejuvenate your skill
with NVC.

Deepening workshops of Nonviolent Communication (5x2 days, dates: May 12th/13th, June 9th/10th, August 16th/17th, September 16th/17th, Ocotber 14th/15th)
These 10 days will focus on “inner work” and exploring our relationships and dialogues with ourselves and situations that trigger us. The workshops will help you to discover choices we didn’t know we had and the tools to relate to yourself with a greater sense of compassion.
We offer the opportunity to come for the first workshop to get to know me and then sign up for the rest.
In my experience before we can connect compassionately with others we first need to learn to connect compassionately with ourselves.
The workshop is also an opportunity to become part of a group that continues developing NVC skills and consciousness over the time.

Nonviolent Communication är ett stöd för dig som vill lära dig kommunicera på sätt som skapar mer kontakt och mindre motstånd. Det är en kommunikationsprocess som hjälper oss att skapa en dialog där vi kan mötas i samförstånd. För den här kursen används ett digitalt klassrum där du får individuell feedback på din uppgifter. Där har du också möjlighet att dela funderingar och insikter med andra som går kursen.
Kursinnehåll: Varje vecka behandlar vi ett kapitel i boken Nonviolent Communication, ett språk för livet. Du gör övningar för att tillämpa det du lär.
Kursmoment och arbetssätt: Kursen är helt på distans, utan fasta träffar och vi möts via Internet. Du kan alltså befinna dig vart du vill så länge du har tillgång till Internet vilket innebär ett flexibelt lärande där du själv kan välja när du gör de uppgifter som följer med utbildningen.
