This Practice Group begins with a "remembering" for inspiration, centering and connecting with ourselves. This is followed by a "check-in" when we share how we are, what we bring with us or what we hope to receive during the session. Activities include: short education exercises, empathy, role-plays, games and discussions. Participants can facilitate the group with prior arrangement with Rodger Sorrow

You will enhance your awareness of feelings and needs, and help your clients develop the skill of self empathy. You will discover new ways to offer your presence and connect to your core aliveness, so that you develop heart connection in your practice.

This course is for coaches, counselors, therapists, facilitators, social workers, health care professionals, and anyone else who is serious about supporting personal growth and self awareness.

We will connect our meditation practice with our speech and communication as a powerful and effective way to bring

… do no harm, compassion, mindfulness, wise speech, lovingkindness, empathy, responsive, non-reactive, free from the judging mind…

NVC enables us to connect empathically with other people, and helps us
to help them to connect empathically with us. But what do you do when
you are feeling angry or upset to the extent that you don't want to
empathise with them? And they feel the same about you?! We call this
empathy collision, and on this day we will explore what is happening in
these situations and how we can get around this impasse. This day will
be practice oriented, to help you develop and rejuvenate your skill
with NVC.

These trainings are designed for practising skills learned in Foundation Training plus developing further understanding and skills in the area of Anger.
