We’ve all got ‘em—clients who are argumentative, demanding, vague, talk-a-holic, or many other qualities that make us dread their appointments with us. In this workshop, we’ll take a look at what makes these people tick and how we can establish balance and respect in these tricky relationships. You’ll leave with new ideas, inspiration and concrete skills for turning any difficult client into an ally. Facilitated by CNVC Trainer Holly Michelle Eckert, a former music teacher, and independent NVC Trainer Erika Jennings, a former massage therapist and accounts receivable specialist. Between them, they have 30 years of dealing with difficult clients and transforming these relationships into mutually beneficial alliances.
NVC Training Institute's Seven Day Training or equivalent
Over the years we've had a lot of people in our trainings express
interest & excitement about bringing NVC into businesses &
organizations, and now we have developed a training to support those
who are venturing into this territory.
With his background in owning & managing small businesses, Gregg has focused
the last seven years on facilitating NVC consciousness in
organizations—first in his own 19-year-old business, and then as a
consultant to a variety of businesses & nonprofits including a
3-1/2 year engagement at a company that does pharmaceutical studies.
Susan brings her 15+ years of experience of NVC, along with specific
engagements of bringing NVC into the British Columbia provincial
government and General Motors.
The intention within our work is to foster the fullness of NVC consciousness—the living energy
of needs—such that we not only impact the human relationships within
the organization but we systemically transform the organizational
processes, strategies and structures to be in harmony with this
consciousness.
Our intention within this workshop is to:

People in distress are thirsty for empathy. Your ability to listen with care, focus, and without condemnation, can make the difference between a breakdown and a breakthrough. This hands-on workshop introduces a transformative way to get to the heart of what lies behind criticisms, complaints and insults, and to be able to hear the productive "yes" behind every frustrating "no."

It's easy to be swept away in the whirlwind of emotions, thoughts and blaming that can accompany stressful situations with people. Your capacity to find support and stay grounded can mean the difference between burnout and sustainable leadership. This experiential workshop shows how we can use how we talk to ourselves and others as clues to our core issues in a stressful situation, and to creatively find tangible actions to restore well-being.
